UFC 215 PBP/Discussion

now we're going to have to continue listening to nunes' stupidity, just like tyron idiot woodley.

Fucking fight sucked but Shev won. I am an idiot for going full retard on the fight. Fuck it'll take a while to get that back

Nunes really didn't do anything to win that fight

Fell asleep during tge fight...lost a little on Shev, but still up about 3u for the night I think. Too tired to do the math. Goodnight everybody!

shev was piecing her up in the 5th but one nunes takedown that did 0 damage wins it. feel bad for people who went large on shev, she would've won if it was a regular main event. but she's gotta be smarter than that, championship fights are so much different in how the champs have a built-in advantage.

Her indignation is misplaced. Do I think she deserved the win? Yeah. Was it some sort of egregious robbery? No way.

Im honestly confused too. Its not like my bet was huge. I dont care about the money its just a silly decision. Shev was piecing her up.

I lost almost all the profit of the night, like 6-7u livebetting Shev. 1u up overall but this sucks....

Hope nobody lost a lot.

i would have thought with the new rules, judges would have given shev r5. isn't effective strikes supposed to count for more than smothering?

Schev is right tho. Every replay shown in the fight was of her evading and then landing . nunes really landed nothing

Please let Nunes fight Cyborg so she can get murdered

man, it goes all out the window since it's like an unwritten rule for a challenger to win a split decision against a champ... look at the bs wonderboy-woodley fights for reference

ffs, nunes got the takedown and had back control but literally did nothing for 30 seconds.

it was a close fight, it's just annoying how nunes can get the edge for that though. she couldn't even win the striking battle as a better striker lol. got lucky shev went full retard with the takedown because nunes had already gassed off of that first failed TD attempt in the 5th.

Shevchenko came in with a bad gameplan, you'd think she would want to pressure Nunes and make her tired but no she did the exact same thing as she did in the 1st fight. Shevchenko also thought she won the 1st fight, she is delusional when it comes to scoring rounds. Seriously some poor fight IQ by Shevchenko and her team, she shouldn't be mad at the judges it could have gone either way.

Nunes was very composed and fought a very smart fight.

Ended up -200$, +2400$ if shevchenko would've got the nod... fuck

disagree. i thought shev fought great other than the head and arm throw.

i was bored to tears in rds 2-3-4, so couldn't score any of them well, i presume the judges were in the same predicament.

rd 1 and 5 were clear for nunes to me. obviously 5 moreso. the WMMA special head-and-arm throw very well might've cost shev the fight.

i think nunes deserves some credit.

this isn't an "i told you so" but i was very adament that too much was based on what "probably would have happened" and not enough about what did happen in the first fight, and that nunes would have better cardio for a 5 rounder, etc.

it could've gone either way, but i think the right girl won.

Man I'm watching the post fight show Shev really did tag her on every exchange

Man. I guess it comes down to round 3, but I still thought as close as it was Shev would def get it for the exact reason she said. Nunes did jack shit but low kicks and body kick, and Shev got the better of every exchange and was landing everything harder.

That decision was a huge swing for me smfh

Nunes was literally scared to let go of Shev when she has her back off the throw, how do you judge that favorably she didn't earn that position, and then did nothing with it.
