Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series- Season 2

Greg Hardy is a complete piece of shit. One of my cousins in the south (where Hardy lives) met the girl & her sister at a party and actually asked the sister about the case

apparently he was super abusive throughout their relationship and the girl has serious ptsd from getting assaulted by him - he should be jailed honestly. I hope he makes it into the UFC just so black beast can obliterate him

Wow - going to keep my mouth shut for now, but one of those is WAY off.

The pics of her afterward pretty much say it all.

Someone made a Jon Jones comparison but Hardy is totally different. Jones made a lot of bad choices. Endangered people even with his reckless behavior. Deserved to be punished for sure. But he didn't intend to harm innocents.

Hardy seems like a special kind of evil. Beating the hell (repeatedly it sounds like) out of a woman 1/3 your size, threatening to kill her, etc? Fucker deserves for someone to lock in an RNC and hold it for about 5 minutes. See how many women he's terrorizing while a vegetable in a hospital room.

Yeah I left this part out because my cousin is an idiot but he actually drunkenly asked her about everything at the party and she immediately burst into tears and had to be taken away by her sister

So yeah safe to say absolutely nothing about that case is fabricated and Greg Hardy is indeed an awful human being who made millions playing in the NFL

I compared the two not in terms of moral culpability (obviously Hardy is much worse) but to make a point that being a POS makes no difference in terms of whether you've got the chops to win a fight. You can be a POS and still be the greatest fighter in the world was my point. I'd really like to be wrong on this so would be glad to hear a good counterargument.

Sean Lally vs Will Santiago

170lb Professional Title

"The power hitter duo took center cage, Lally jabbing as Santiago looking to unload his mega right hand, dumping Lally briefly to the canvas when they came together. Santiago threw his hammers but came up short, Lally kicking low and plugging a right hand into the ear that sent Santiago skating away. The two came back up and the tension was thick with each looping shot, Santiago throwing a pair of horrid uppercuts and moving into clinch and landing another before breaking out. A running uppercut by Santiago landed and Lally threw low, looking to time a counter and ducking for a takedown he couldn’t find. Lally smashed the leg with a hard low kick that seemed to injure his foe, the leg going stiff. Lally drove for a takedown and ate an uppercut that put him down, Santiago swarming with punches on his badly wounded foe before grabbing a guillotine, forcing Lally to tap at the tail end of a brutal beating.

Will Santiago wins via 1st round Submission (guillotine)"

I can't find video of this fight, thanks for summary!

nah it's fading an 0-0 dude with very limited amateur cage time with an elite athletic background against a fighter with a similar athletic background (Lane is a former NFLer too) along with a 4-0 pro MMA record.

According to sherdog, Lane is 2-0 against two debuting opponents (both still sit at 0-1) and has 34 seconds of professional cage time. I wouldn't go all in with the experience gap here lol. Whoever lands first is more than likely going to win and Hardy is athletic AF. I get not wanting him to win, but this seems like flipping a coin and hoping to get lucky.

According to tapology Santiago is fighting Holland at 185 on DWTNCS, so he's going to be the way smaller guy. +385 / 4.85 still seems crazy

No I know what you were saying and i agree. Being a POS doesn't mean you can't be skilled. No question.

I guess i just wanted to differentiate between the 2 guys. Jones is a lunkhead but Hardy is just straight up a seemingly evil individual. Big difference to me.

Holland is not that big for 185. He fought Millender at WW, but he did miss at 174. He also has weighed under 185 for his MW fights. Santiago has fought at MW as well. That's where he KOed O'Neil.

Curtis usually starts slow, but Lally is just terrible. This is not 5 rounds title fight, so Curtis should look for a finish to impress ufc. Hope to get a good price for the u1.5.

Actually really hope Hardy wins the series so he can fight black beast and get dismantled tbh

Ok good to know!

Anyone know if the lines will come out on bovada or 5dimes?

5Dimes just opened up a line for Greg Hardy vs Austen Lane. Hardy opened at +135, I tried to hit +120 and settled for +105. I don't know much about his opponent, but I'll take a shot on the hype at + money, controversy aside.

I threw on Boatwright at +350. That line is way off and will likely close. Boatwright has a significant wrestling advantage even though Menifield should probably be favored a bit. -530 is absurd for Menifield though.
