What does "too far" even mean?

That question is always asked but no one ever defines what that phrase means.

Beyond the bounds of acceptability, something that any reasonable person would find offensive. Doesn't really have a fine line, but like obscenity you know it when you see it?

Nah. In old school days. Maybe . Nowadays . Don’t matter .

Somersaulted off his back whilst he was unconscious in celebration.

He didnt assault him any further physically.

The post-fight mocking should be ok if pre-fight trash talk is a thing.

Mas said it best, the ones who talk the most should be able to take the harshest backlash and there shouldn’t be anything wrong with that. Mas just fights, any other respectful opponent would’ve been different entirely how that went down celebrating.
This, 1000%

That's a good point. Have we gotten to the point where trash talk and mockery and all that is more normalized?

Well if it was normalized, would Jorge have taken it all so personally?

FULL BLOWN CUBAN CELEBRATION.

DEAL W IT

I think so. Sad cause Im old school but I think societal norms and morals breaking down and the advent of social media have “ normalized “ shit talking. Jorge was weirdly old school in this matter AND old school . Old school cause he didn’t like the shit talking but NEW school by mocking him after incessantly imo. Old school fighters wouldn’t have made a show koing a dude they hated in 5 sec. They would have remained expressionless. Think Randy , Mark Hunt or Fedor. To me that’s WAY colder and bad ass. Act like you’ve been there before and you expected it .

It's certainly not the first smack talk Jorge has gotten in his life. Not even talking about his back yard brawls, but the dude fought Demian Maia, the most ruthless and mean-spirited fighter on the roster. Maia's hostility knows no bounds.

All of it acceptable. If he hit him after the ref stopped it then cut him. No different from Tito's grave thing or Black Beasts ground stare.

The show will begin at the top of the hour.

Why even acknowledge people answering "yes"?

I don't comment on babysitting forums. And when I do, I don't expect a serious response.

And I'm not a "Ben deserved it" guy. Equally ridiculous imo.

Question to cover: In Ben's interview with Ariel, he alluded to how he plotted out this path to the title. Lawler, Till/Masvidal, Usman. He obviously doesn't have complete control over matchups, but he can use trash talk and negotiations to angle for certain spots. And he was right where he wanted to be.

What would be the best path back from the bottom?

If you have any additional question or want to talk to the hosts, jump in the YT chat and you can talk with them there too.

Question 1 @Threetrees - How did you score Jones vs. Santos, and how do you think Santos’ apparent success affects future gameplans against Jones, as well as other matchups and super fights?

Question 2 @Melas Chasma - Now that Jones looks like he’s out of his prime and likely starts losing soon, who would you most rather see give him his first decisive loss? Who should get the honor? Third time DC? Post bench Rumble? Last Chance Weidman? Someone else?

Question 3 @Geniusss - Who is the most dominant female UFC champion so far? Ronda Rousey, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Amanda Nunes or Valentina Shevchenko?

Question 4 - @Akoo - Which Cuban weapon of mass destruction impressed you most? Yoel Romero’s flying knee against Chris Weidman, or Jorge Masvidal’s flying knee against Ben Askren?

Followup from Yojimbo - Where does it rank among your personal favorite crazy KOs of all time?

Question 5 - @mb23100 - What’s the most embarrassing loss in UFC history? Is it Askren getting knocked out in 3 seconds?
