They don't want any more Tool questions. One was a fun goof to answer, but then it got a little much. It is a combat sports show on a combat sports website, after all.
I will happily accept hip hop and movie questions though

where does ex machina belong on the best sci fi movies of all time rankings?

in retrospect, did the fat boys ever become wack?
Ex-Machina was a bit overrated for me. Doesn't compare to the classic movies about AI being dangerous like Terminator or The Matrix. Wasn't bad though
And were the Fat Boys ever not wack?

Is the Houston Rap Scene dead? I mean, other than Trae The Truth... you hear nothing. Shoot, the kids don't even know "who" Mike Jones...

* Watching Shevchenko vs Carmouche got me thinking... since there wasn't a lot else going on at that time.

When Carmouche was 3 years into her career, she managed to take the back of Ronda Rousey and almost win the Title. 6 years later, Carmouche is much more composed, technical and experienced as a fighter and she manages... nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Are some people just better fighters as athletic wildmen rather than what we traditionally consider as having "good fighting skills?" Carmouche looks like she regressed despite her so-called improvements.

Obviously, this trend isn't universal. But could this be more common among MMA fighters than we think?

Sorry for not being able to think of a more succinct way to phrase this question. Feel free to cut it down if you're able.

Why, when there's a fight like McGregor vs Diaz 1 at Welterweight, McGregor has the permission to pose with his Featherweight belt and fool around with it ? (I don't remember if in the second fight McGregor posed again with his belt in the tale of the tape - totally ridiculous by the way)
same with DC vs Miocic, a HEAVYWEIGHT fight, DC poses with his LHW belt ?

While on the topic of belts-how ugly do u think the new UFC strap is? I find it hideous. Though the chain link isnt much better, it isn’t trying too hard to be trendy.

Is there any hope that we may one day not have to see these horrible pre fight pump up interviews with the fighters where they tell us ad nauseum how they’re “in the best shape of their life” “in the best training camp I’ve ever had,” and how they’re “the better overall fighter”, etc. I don’t see how this adds to the fights, no other sport does this. I really wish UFC forged a new path on this one. I know it’s not an easy fix, but nothing makes me hit the mute button quicker.

Maybe if you brought up maynards hip toss and transition to rnc while still performing? And build from there.

you help write for Mma on point.. right?? just wanted to say love the channel and the work you guys do. thank you...

Our poll is up for the day, asking if you think Daniel Cormier will fight again after he meets Stipe Miocic at UFC 241 this weekend.

Our guest co-host will be announced soon, as Ant Walker will be covering UFC 241 open workouts for the site during showtime.

if he wins, should give magumbo a title shot

Do you guys believe that Weili Zhang is deserving of a title shot against Jessica Andrade or is it simply a case of tempting the hometown crowd?

Have you guys noticed that Walt Harris has improved drastically since his first round submission loss to Werdum? He's leaner, faster and much more composed it seems. I see a real solid title run in his future even at 36. What do you guys think?

What kind of chances do you guys give to Romero vs Costa actually going down?

What is Nate Diaz's motivation for coming back? What do you guys think kept him out so long?

Did Volkan Oezdemir really look that good this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 156 or did Latifi look that bad. It seemed Volkan was able to look impressive and open up because Latifi was just so sloppy.
Glad to have you back, Frank.

I think we turned this bad boy into something manageable for the broadcast.

Stepping in for Ant Walker today will be contributing editor Jay Pettry, who's gonna get this work for the first time.

My guess is if he wins, they throw him a Derrick Lewis type bone to headline NYE card and retire on the year's biggest night on his own terms. My best guess is the Overeem/Harris winner.

I reckon they keep Ngannou away from him. My reasoning? They would like Ngannou to wear the strap and it woulnt be a good look for him to get wrestle-fucked and go 0-2 in title fights.

Overeem/Harris are fighting on December 7th, so no chance the winner would take a turnaround of a week to fight on the "NYE" card that the UFC has. Meaning, the last UFC PPV of the year is UFC 245 on December 14th. The final UFC card of 2019 is UFC Fight Night South Korea on 12/21 and they wouldn't burn a title fight on that either.

There just aren't a lot of contenders at HW and absolutely no one more deserving than Ngannou. The only other fight they could have there would be Jones, right?

Seems DC is feeling good these days after his back surgery. Probably can’t pass up the chance at redemption against Jones and one last big payday.
