What's Your Next Purchase? V5

I just don't see the point in spending so much money on something that's still 5.56. And bullpup triggers suck so that's another $350 to drop on a replacement trigger.

$1429 for the gun. So about 2k for a bullpup, with a trigger able to be set so light that I've gotta now add some weight to avoid unintentional doubles. Just need to decide if I wanna slap the 9mm conversion on since it'll be disassembled to get to the trigger.

We've actually had them longer than you guys have.

As an American I sat in quiet shame. :(

But the Tavor looks even scarier than an AR!

Hebrew hammer. ;)

That's the old one though. The mag release isn't by the pistol grip.

They have been around a while. I won't speak on the mdr but the SRS and HTI are phenomenal.
I've been digging around in the giant Desert Tech thread on AR15.com. Not a lot of praise for the MDR.

So, in other words, this thing costs about $1,000 more than a Kel-Tec RFB, has far more malfunctions, quality control issues, a 3-year warranty vs. a lifetime warranty and customer service that recommends you take a nail file (hmm, never heard of an armorers kit including a nail file before

) to burrs compared to glowing reports of how “Kel-Tec will make it right” customer service philosophy.

Thing is a turd, years late, etc.

Maybe it will be awesome by some generation but from everything I've read you have to be lucky to get one that works flawlessly.

Welp, no more looking at FN guns for this guy.
They sure like to gouge too. Their "collector's" M4 is basically a Colt 6920 with a KAC RAS for $1500.

I've been trying to put off buying one of the M16A1 clones. Brownell's (made by Aero) is $1k while Colt's is over $2k.

Really? That's dumb on FNH.

Yeah. Suppressors void warranty on scars. The suppressed gas setting is not for civilians lol. Triggers and muzzle devices do as well. If you ever have to send a scar in. Revert it back to 100% orginal condition and probably clean the shit out of it lol.

A guy was running a suppressor on his scar 17. 60 rounds in the bolt carrier seized up. He sent it in, FN saw the SiCo asr muzzle brake, told him his warranty is void and it's 1k to fix it.

My reaction would be
<3>
