BMF belt, great idea....or the greatest idea?

so despite winnin' 5 of his last 6 (which includes wins over former or present champions and a no contest, which he eventually redeemed) and being the interim champion, why is dustin poirier completely out of the top 15 lightweight rankings after his loss to khabib nurmagomedov a few nights ago?

The obvious question is
Is it worth talking anyone else that isn't Tony when it comes to Khabib matchups?

How on earth was Gaston Bolanos -1000 this weekend?

Is UFC’s “take it or leave it” negotiating tactics hurting the sport? It seems that big fights aren’t being made (Usman vs Colby being the latest) simply because UFC is solely focused on generating profit for their corporate owners.

Why isn't there more of an effort behind reforming the officiating during mma fights and correcting the problem we have where we get bogus decisions?

Loving the questions so far. Keep 'em coming. Should be a fun show Wednesday and informative column later in the week

How many fights away is Gregor Gillespie from the title picture? What are his chances against other top 10 opponents?

* During the last two UFC events, enviormental factors has played a big part in the overall narrative. The much-feared Chinese jetlag, and the cardio-scorching Arabian desert. As the UFC becomes ever-more globalized, should where and when a Champ/Contender fights become a bigger fighters-right issue? How much right should combatants have in picking the location -- and do you see future conflict concerning this with the UFC?

* With fighters like Khabib, Usman, Islam and Colby, we're witnessing the rise of a new breed of wrestlers who specialize in negating wall-walking. Truly wrestling adopted to MMA. How will/can the meta change to counter these techniques?

Dana White claims the BMF-belt is a one-time thing. Will it, though? Seems like a goldmine?

If Khabib defeats Tony who should he fight next?

Rumors have surfaced saying that Brendan Schaub will be moving into boxing, how do you think that's gonna play out?

Might actually do better if he doesnt focus on the jab too much. Jabs way more important in boxing than mma. He just needs to learn to use it in 15 different ways to set up strikes. if he fights at heavyweight he dead.

I got a question for you mr.Ant. and i must say i dont like that name because ik its short for antwann, and my exes ex boyfriends name was antwann and he beat the shit out of her.

Anyways since 90% of people in this sub forum do not know what they talking about due to not training, and thinking they know everything from just watching ufc.

So do you have a martial arts or mma background? A fight background from any combat sport?

What would you say is the blueprint to defending against Khabibs overwhelming grappling?

What do you think about the absolutely conflicting judge scoring of this fight

Polar opposite scores from two people watching the same fight!!!

I can't recall another fight where two separate fighters received a 30-27

I'm still reeling in astonishment from this:

Something good's going on. There's so many great questions this week. Will watch the show. It's awesome.

Is he really?

Edit: He's #3 bruha

Question for Ant: Do you think Conor is coming back? And if so, could we just throw him from a bridge instead?
