General MMA Discussion & Future Lines - January, 2019

Considering how woefully the UFC miscounts strikes landed, significant strikes, and takedowns attempted and completed, and how their production values, promos, and commentary have become consistently shittier, not better, I'm not too confident about this product.

Although I presently live-bet at the end of rounds despite being about 45 seconds behind ESPN+, so it should be amusing to live-bet in the middle of the rounds with a similar handicap.

The thing is, even if the stats are on point or all over the place it doesn't really matter. It's what the judges see or interpret. This app is all great in that it'll bring casual money in and improve liquidity to lines, maybe even get some ridiculous line movement live when casuals see padded striking stats in favour of a fighter but it's misleading.

How do you do in general with betting inbetween rounds only?

The ufc app and other things they have their hands in are absolutely garbage, im not sure id assume anything good comes from this

Incidentally, it's an expensive software package that online bookmakers have to buy from the UFC. Beyond the price, said software package might be used to spy on the bookmakers and their customers.

Depending on the price range and security concerns, few, if any online books are even going to buy this.

And, given the constant blunders, financial, technical, and otherwise the UFC makes, one shouldn't count on them to be remotely competent in addressing these obvious concerns.

New York not a good place for this fight. Can you imagine if Tony slices' Khabib's dome with some elbows and the doctor stops the fight? I can't remember the last time someone didn't bleed vs Tony so you never know..

Watching the Conor line get hammered and thinking about the match-up a little bit like <{jackyeah}>

So if Conor doesn’t knock him out early he’s going to be In Trouble with that 2 round cardio of his

I also think his lack of ring time and disinterest in mma is going to effect his biggest skill: timing and accuracy.

The coke, booze and women might not help either.
Ring rust might let ol slow starter Don get in his flow too.
Connor lost to Nate Diaz 1.5 times. Nate Diaz sucks, lets be real.

At 170 as well

Cerrone is no spring chicken himself will be about 37y old and coming off back to back punishing losses. Not a good matchup for him here either. Ez Conor KO round 1 or 2 no need to be worried about cardio.

Conor wouldn't return and risk his brand unless he felt he was ready, and this is a handpicked ez opponent to get a W.

Safe to say, the shots Conor landed on Nate would have dropped Cowboy all day. He's getting KO'd here I reckon. Also lol @ thinking Nate won 1.5 of their 2 fights. He clearly lost 3 rounds.
