Recent fights/results/news from Thailand

Cops in Thailand respond well to bribery though. I bet he will be fine.

Any stories to share where that worked? Because I know of one story from a friend where that back-fired bad.

I have friends who have bribed their way out of both traffic tickets and drug charges (both weed and ya baa). This is island cops though, I know Bangkok cops are a lot more strict.

Koh Tao by any chance?

10 day retirement. a new record.

He never announced a complete retirement from the sport, he announced only retiring from fights in stadiums and said at the time would be fighting abroad only

Suakim unless he change the way he fight is not gonna do well in international lat all .
Some of the most sloppiest fight of last year were from him .
He make Seksan look 10 more coordinate and precise .
I fear that he will get brain damage if he continue to fight like that .
I mean just look at him against Tenshin in the first fight and then the second one , Suakim looked like he aged 10 years in between .

This might sound weird but he has quite a long neck. It think it makes him easier to hit clean with punches. I.e harder to shell up, use shoulders for protection, head moves more with shots.
Just look at rodtang's neck.

Suakim has great physical dimensions for the weight he fights at but doesnt make use of them, mostly has wars, shame

events may happen as early as june 15th despite the prime minister extending the state of emergency until end of june. stadiums will be closed to the public to start and then gradually fully reopen based on a multi-phased plan (ie. phase 1 - no spectators). more discussions to be had before any of this happens. fingers crossed.

I read somewhere that gyms will be allowed to operate soon, although with limitations such as no sparring

Tomorow can start, as you said no sparring, clinching or pads, can shadow and do bagwork

i saw quite a few videos of pad holding and "light sparring" from different gyms...

also read that the CP group may be involved in some "changes"/takeover involving lumpinee stadium; one source reports changes involve both renaming and from a management standpoint; location may change as well to move back to central bangkok. just rumours at the moment but for context, CP group's subsidiaries, locally at least, include CP fresh mart, CP foods, TRUE corporation, and they are also the sole licensee for 7-eleven in thailand.

It would be great to see lumpini back in central bangkok. It had to affect attendances having it where it is now.

Lumpinee back in central Bangkok would be nice, it was a mission going there from central Bangkok every time, I remember it being a 45 minutes cab journey on the motorway each way :/

How would you guys rate the probability of gyms running with no restriction by mid-July?
