The most credible reports estimate a BoM (Bill of Manufacturing) at $470, and a price somewhere between $479-$549. I think they realize how cost is the #1 most important factor to winning the console war, and won't sell it for more than $499.

Still, keep in mind that by September, if adjusting for inflation, the launch price of the PS3 would be $~$775. That $599 price tag is more reasonable today.

Rumors are Sony is prepared this year with launch titles. Just a rumor so who knows how true it is but the Sony boss did acknowledge their PS4 launch was lack luster years ago I think. I think having HZD2 would be a killer launch title. Would also make sense why they decided to release HZD on PCs hoping to get some of that group to pick up the PS5 for the sequel.

Wait is this the confirmed list of games? I thought we wouldn't get an announcement until June 3? I'm confused about what this is. The rumors I read said GT and HZD2 were expected launch titles but I don't even see those mentioned here. Is even one Sony studio listed on here?

Its not a complete list of all launch titles...

They dont have that and Sony will soon reveal their cards.

This is exactly why I told my wife not to post anything on FB about this stuff. You post something about cops being careful - people attack you about African Americans and their issues. You post about African Americans - people attack you for not denouncing riots. You post about denouncing rights - people attack you for not standing with African Americans.

I've already seen a member from my BJJ school and my wife learn the hard way from this. They both tried to post what I saw as thoughtful things but it didn't matter. They were attacked for not mentioning the other side.

I only post cute pictures of my kids periodically on Facebook so friends and family can be lead into believing that I’ve got a Leave It To Beaver family life. I’m not about high conflict political arguments on social media.
