Or imprison them ..

If this becomes compulsory in the uk .. They better get ready for extreme violence .. Coz i aint going quietly ..

It won't happen man. As I've been saying since the first moment Boris mentioned mandatory quarantines for international arrivals, it's a half-arsed attempt to show the public the government are 'doing something'. They have no intention of fully following through with it. They might, at a push, do it for 30days - June 8th to July 7th, something like that.

Within days of announcing it, they were talking about 'air bridges' later in June. Now, before it's even begun, MPs themselves are urging Boris to drop the idea, along with travel companies.

Spain, Greece, Germany and the rest of Europe are all focusing on getting that sweet tourist bunce coming in from July onwards to save as much of that economy as possible for 2020........there's no way our country is going to be the outlier that doesn't want any tourist money.

I stand by it, quarantine might happen here for 3-4 weeks maximum then it's business as usual unless you're going to/from a heavily infected country that hasn't passed their peak. Which will tie in nicely with my holiday plans for 2020, haha.

Speaking of control, this is what happens when you overly depend on technology to control your populace.

As you know I'm under quarantine and by law, I have to have an app on my phone that tracks where I am and alerts the authorities if I go out of my quarantine area (my apartment). I also report my symptoms on it every day. it also sends me alerts when I leave my phone idle or to tell me I've left the quarantine area, forcing me to have my phone with me all the time.

This morning, I've been getting alerts that I've left the quarantine area. I woke up like an hour ago and just been in my room doing stretches after reporting my symptoms on the app. The health authorities keep calling my mom (I had to give them her number because I don't have a phone number). The guy told her that if this keeps up, the cops will come to get me. I might be fined and/or jailed because of an error on their fucking app. They need to fix this bug first before punishing people for following the rules.

If I was in your position I'd be looking for my passport as soon as flights restrictions have eased off.

Yeah the veil is starting to fall.. Not sure how long they can go on pretending .

Exactly what my plan is. I'm trying to build a remote income stream so I can get the fuck outta here. I heard Bali may be opening up.

Sucks that you may have to leave family and friends behind.

My google news feed which has been dominated for 3 months with death and disaster talking about corona is completely empty of ANY virus headlines ..

Not one lol.. It came it .. Got hype and fizzled out like a limp dick on red panty night.

Now we are left with mask wankers driving their cars, unlimited queues for everything and Karens still risking their lives .. Oh and still shut down health services. ..

Dont have a heart attack anyone because if you do .. Youre fucked ..

Korea was already like a dystopian future even before this shit.

In other news, I tend to look up happenings in Thailand because I was thinking of living there and apparently 29 people died due to traffic accidents on this day alone. 21,000 people die every year on the road in Thailand. 14,000 people contracted degue and 11 died.
3,082 people contracted corona and 57 died.

In my country, about 14,000 people died from suicide last year compared to 271 deaths from corona. The leading cause of death for teens and young adults is suicide. Nobody is stopping the breaks to prevent this from happening. The government isn't pouring resources into stopping something that is far more lethal. I'm not one those people who think this virus is a hoax or even necessarily overblown, but I am sick of the self-congratulatory bullshit for "beating" the virus.

Korean work life being the hell it is...no wonder they were so obedient and willing to quarantine and socially isolate. Probably less stressful than their normal lives.

Even as a foreigner where I don't have to put up with as much bullshit as my Korean coworkers, it still eventually was too much. I only did it for the money, but by end of 2018 with inflation still going up and stagnant salaries, it just wasn't worth it anymore.

Thinking of Korea in 2010, gimbap still 1000 won per roll, bibimbap 3,500 won..pack of cigs 2,500 won. Salaries for teaching roughly the same as today....damn it was so easy to save money on a modest hagwon salary especially living in a 300,000 won per month spacious villa in gyeonggi or Daegu. Always preferred the spacious villas to the more expensive officetels.

164 hospital deaths for the UK today, as opposed to 134 last Tuesday. Understandable that it's slightly higher, last week we had the lag of a bank holiday weekend and MUCH lower numbers compared to the previous week as a result. I was expecting a slight increase today, like yesterday.

Will be interesting to see tomorrow and Thursday's numbers as they were our two highest days last week.

Think we'll probably just be fluctuating / plateauing for a bit now. Italy seemed to go, like, 69 > 170 > 160 > 165 >90 for quite a while, on a day to day basis. Spain notching up zero deaths yesterday was awesome but it's something I don't see on our horizon in the UK for a very long time, maybe like July or even later.

The thing that baffles me is they let us shop in crowded indoor walmarts and home depots but didnt let us in parks or beaches, makes no sense you are more likely to get sick indoors than outdoors in the sunlight distanced away from people, I never understood that logic now that I think about it.

There is NO logic to anything that has been going on .. its all made up BS .. trauma based mind control.. it always was and it always will be, just look at the way the empire jumps from one thing to another, we are living a complete fantasy.

Im calling absolute BS on this article.. 21,000 in 2 days ... not a chance .. fake news as always..

What? The US has had more than 20k new cases daily for over two months now.

Why you guys still entertain him is beyond me. If you asked him what 2+2 = he would say "Jello".

Read a NYT article weeks ago titled How Pandemics End that made an interesting point about there being two kinds of ends: one medical, the other social

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/10/health/coronavirus-plague-pandemic-history.html

It's behind a paywall so I'll just post the excerpts

1918 Spanish Flu:

After sweeping through the world, that flu faded away, evolving into a variant of the more benign flu that comes around every year.

“Maybe it was like a fire that, having burned the available and easily accessible wood, burns down,” Dr. Snowden said.

It ended socially, too. World War I was over; people were ready for a fresh start, a new era, and eager to put the nightmare of disease and war behind them. Until recently, the 1918 flu was largely forgotten.

Current pandemic:

How will Covid-19 end?
Will that happen with Covid-19?

One possibility, historians say, is that the coronavirus pandemic could end socially before it ends medically. People may grow so tired of the restrictions that they declare the pandemic over, even as the virus continues to smolder in the population and before a vaccine or effective treatment is found.

“I think there is this sort of social psychological issue of exhaustion and frustration,” the Yale historian Naomi Rogers said. “We may be in a moment when people are just saying: ‘That’s enough. I deserve to be able to return to my regular life.’”

It is happening already; in some states, governors have lifted restrictions, allowing hair salons, nail salons and gyms to reopen, in defiance of warnings by public health officials that such steps are premature. As the economic catastrophe wreaked by the lockdowns grows, more and more people may be ready to say “enough.”

“There is this sort of conflict now,” Dr. Rogers said. Public health officials have a medical end in sight, but some members of the public see a social end.

“Who gets to claim the end?” Dr. Rogers said. “If you push back against the notion of its ending, what are you pushing back against? What are you claiming when you say, ‘No, it is not ending.’”

The challenge, Dr. Brandt said, is that there will be no sudden victory. Trying to define the end of the epidemic “will be a long and difficult process.”
I was hoping the November election would mark the social end, but now I'm thinking we might experience it once the protests/riots end

Brazil has confirmed 28,936 new COVID-19 cases and 1,262 new deaths, raising the country's total to 555,383 with 31,199 confirmed deaths.
Highest death toll reported in the country so far.

The end? Hmm everyone gets Corona just like everyone gets the flu, covid has spread quickly across the globe, but life goes on, 50-70% will be asymptomatic yadayadayada

Its easy to spot a yellow car while thinking of a yellow car.
Easy to get mad if you're always thinking about getting mad.
Easy to listen the media and fear coronavirus and want to be locked down
Careful folks, you become what you think about.
