High schooler Yoo Jin Shin will look to go 3-0 in less than a year, and 2-0 in a little over two months, when she takes on the debuting Yoo Jung Kim. According to Road’s press release, Kim is 4-2 as an amateur, and trains out of Team Genius alongside Yu Ri Shim. Team Genius is known for being primarily a striking gym.

Demopoulos v. McKenna was inch'resting. I quite like Vanessa's ground game (though it may have cost her) and she hits hard. McKenna has a lot of potential and remained calm whenever Demopoulos tried for a submission; deservedly won IMO. I don't think either of them are UFC ready, but there's fighters signed who are worse.

Zheleznyakova might be a prospect at 135. She's 24, has a kickboxing background but is also ok on the ground. Zutova from what I've researched is a wrestler, 7-0 in MMA but 4/7 of her opponents were 0-0-0. I think this fight is at 145.

From what I can tell, Zutova is roughly 35, and a veteran of the Azerbaijani wrestling team. She has competed at a fairly high level in that sport. She doesn’t seem to have a good blast double or single, but she has done good judo throws and lat drops. She seems incredibly short, and her striking defense and offense is atrocious, but she has fought at lightweight and welterweight I believe. She is kind of similar to King Reina, but the latter seems to have much better hands.

I do favor Dairya in this bout, and getting by someone with that wrestling pedigree would be an excellent sign for a young, rangy, and powerful striker. According to tapology the fight is on at 135, and the winner has to have some potential. Definitely one I’ll be trying to watch.

I don’t usually watch DWTNCSTWFS or whatever the initials are, but I watched a couple of the fights. Is it my imagination, or did Derpopoulos give up top position in every round without being taken down? Then she hunted for submissions she didn’t get, thus giving away the rounds. Not a very impressive display of fight IQ, considering that could have been her only shot at making it to the UFC. McKenna, on the other hand, fought an intelligent fight, and she’s definitely got time to grow her skill set.

After thinking about her signing to fight bare knuckle it could be genius or the worse possible career decision.

If this deal is for only 1 fight then I think she might be doing this to get out of the negotiation waiting period with the UFC. The moratorium might be only with MMA promotions. She gets paid and if they throw her the can of all cans she won't get too messed up. Then she can negotiate with Bellator right after.

If this is a multi fight deal then she might get paid but there is a huge chance she ruins her earning potential for the rest of her career. I am interested to see which route she went.

I wonder if Paige will be on a % of the ppv, her debut will attract a lot of attention. Seemingly it's a multi-fight deal and she turned down an offer from Bellator. It's when ,or if, they match her with the likes of Ferea, Peralta or even Bec that things are going to turn ugly.

Isn't bec still under bellator contract?

Anyways it's a weird move, hope she's well paid.

In other news Bethe was cut from the roster seems surprising WBW has so few fighters already and she has a recent win over #15 Eubanks. Bethe would have been a good bounce back fight for Stoliarenko the two most likely just bang in the center until a ko.

Why do you think that? Paige KO'd Rawlings the first time they fought.

I forgot that. Obviously Paige signed with Bare Knuckle to avoid the wrath of Bec.

She did but it wasn't that convincing a finish and there are no kicks in BK, anyway not happening see above. Have you watched any of the female bareknuckle fights btw? Win lose or draw against competitive opponents your face and hands are getting bust up, literally turned ugly - there's no avoiding that.

Spoke too soon. Per mmajunkie, it’s visa issues due to the Rona.

Wasn't she living in the US and training at ATT already? She moved over because Ukraine had nothing to offer to a female mma fighter.

I guess Paige wants to prove a point. Thought?View attachment 790634

Sad. If she is doing it to prove a point, instead of doing out of legitimate interest... Sad. Best of luck fighting the ugly women, they'll go out there with bad blood towards her. Not unlike the petty, older woman Loureda knocked out a few days ago.

She’s been back home in the Ukraine recently, doing a lot of PR work with sponsors.
