Adesanya sure was a good role model for all the Nigerian kids watching

media directly undermines parenting, im not even a parent, but i work with kids and its clear how they ended up this way.
That is passing the Buck.

Parents are the ultimate guide for their children. The fruit does not fall far from the tree.

Children don't raise themselves. They are taught values and morals at home and guided through life. There have always been outside influences. The media has always poisoned the public mind, but this generation of parents seems to be the most inept generation blaming everything on the kids instead of looking at themselves.

Im in norway. They take after american identity politics and all that shit nowadays. Its crazy. Rip the west. Good luck with your daughters. At least they have a father with the head in the right place
Good luck to you too brother.

Imagine being one of the most famous athletes in your native country with the youth/children looking up to you, then you decide to "Rawdog" a knocked out fighter after your biggest fight ever.

We're gonna see a degenerate generation coming out from Nigeria in the near future thanks to Izzy... Just like how the Irish got more obnoxious after Conor
When did you start caring about Nigerian kids?

if we are talking about bad influence then also don´t forget the dagestani and caucasus kids who watched kabeb and his posse assaulted and sucker punched not only Conor but also non-participating bystenders

I think Boko Haram has a bigger influence over Nigerian lives than today's KKK does over American lives.
How about in the last 100 years? How about it making a comeback under another name?

Why would we look at the last century when we're talking about an athlete's example *today*? Also, no current movement in the US is comparable in scope and intention to Boko Haram or the KKK of the early 20th century.

You stated:
"Eh, in a country that has Boko Haram I wouldn't worry too much about this."

I took this to be a put down of Nigeria. Simply pointed out the USA has the KKK which has had a considerable impact on it's society in the past and the effects are still there and happening today.

Not sure if you are American but it sounded a little like you are on your high horse looking down at the rest of the world.

I simply meant there are way worse role models with significant impact (namely Boko Haram and whoever is doing their recruitment and propaganda). Compared to those, what Adesanya did doesn't even register.

I didn not intend to compare Nigeria vs USA, but since it came up, yes, USA is presently doing better that Nigeria in regards to the presence or absence of groups like that. Not in the past.

Fair enough. I took your comment the wrong way. Frankly I am surprised Costa has gotten away with constantly calling Adesanya homophobic insults. Didn't Werdum get in trouble and a slap on the wrist for saying :eek::eek: (in Portugese iirc) or something to that effect.

They used to cut guys for stuff. Miguel Torres got cut for tweeting a bad joke about a rape van.

Conor sucker punched someone first look at the footage you dork
As for Dildo Danis, Khabib was being a great role model for the Dagestani youth, I too would teach my children to not be doormats

Please. B/c Conor is such a great role model.
Throwing trolleys through bus windows with zero regards for collateral damage.

Punching old men in bars b/c they don't like his whiskey.

They are all bad role models.

nope, Conor is definitely not the better role model, he ain´t no role model at all and neither did he ever tried to be one or did anybody ever mentioned him as one. I dont even understand why anyone would bring Conor up in a role model discussion? Its like bringin Kabeb up for the "most drunk fighter" discussion, why would anyone do something that silly?

LOL your only purpose on Sherdog is to give virtual felatios to Kabeb and his posse... and this thread is only to diminish Izzy, who btw won the belt and defeted it within 1,5 years which is way WAY more impressive than what kabib has done, in order to place kabib in a better P4P ranking... pathetic cuck

Izzy can be MMA GOAT for all I care, doesn't make him less of a degenerate and a lowlife.

Not surprised you always love to defend degenerates like Conor and Izzy... Slav gonna slav I guess

I am a father of 3.

The busk stops with me.
I don't need to look around me. I am responsible first and foremost. No excuses.
If you are the father you're touting yourself to be then good for you, i applaud you and say keep up the good work. The fact remains the same, media today is a massive influence and most of it is bullshit brainwashing.

Heres an example for you: They're now starting to show kindergarten aged kids cartoons promoting the idea of transgenderism. lets say you have a little girl who likes to play rough with her two brothers and gets called a tomboy all the time. now, with no consent from you (BECAUSE ITS NOT REQUIRED!) the idea has been planted into her head that "hey, maybe you ARE a boy, just because you're a girl doesn't mean you're not a BOY this is science!" Now as children do, she internalizes that idea and every time she's called a tomboy it gets reinforced to her that "maybe i am a boy, after all i do like boy stuff" Instead of the natural process in which these thought are never even present in the mind at that age, kids just do what they like and don't think anything of it. There is also a strong push in California to remove the required consent of ONE parent, for the administration of puberty blocking drugs! They also promote this in cartoons shown at the school (which again DO NOT REQUIRE PARENTAL CONSENT) saying: there are infinite genders! "when you're born doctors take a GUESS at your gender, but they don't really know! you can be a girl a boy, both or neither, blah blah blah it takes a long time for some people to figure out which one they are! you can ask your teacher or nurse if you need more time deciding which you are! "SAFE" drugs can be given to stop you from going into puberty while you figure it out!..." All the while, its showing a little girl who just started growing breasts, looking sadly in the mirror, then talking to her mother and seemingly deciding to use this medication together, then she feels better.

Yes, the parent is responsible, my post is not to undermine the responsibility of a parent, its to point out that most parents are not even aware what a mountain of responsibility child rearing has become because of many things outside of your sphere of control. Again, I applaud you for your efforts as a parent, just be aware of this shit. If you need references to the information I supplied I can give that to you so you can look into it yourself.
