Apparently, the greatest wrestler of all time possibly wrote a freaking phd paper on how to defend a suplex...I mean, I always wanted to maybe a take a quick look at it, would love to get a glimpse into the minds of the greatest, especially since he must have put a lot of time and effort into writing the paper, but from what I understand is that no one translated into English....

Time to learn Russian. I wouldn't trust a Russian wrestler to tell me the truth. THE DOCUMENT IS TOO POWERFUL!!!

Its not about secret tricks. Its about methodology in sport education.

Quite honestly any self-respecting grown man should have at least a basic command of the Russian language.

You sure? Its titled,
"Methods of execution of suplex throw counters"
Yes.
In Eastern Europe and Russia, there are national sports academies, with coaching profiles for Wrestling, Judo, Sambo...
The curriculum is basically theory of the entire sport.
I write some papers on my website too...

Are you really Ivaylo Ivanov though?

Are your papers in english?

lol, clicked your sig links, you really are Ivaylo Ivanov! Just not the one I thought. I thought it was a more unique name.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivaylo_Ivanov_(judoka)
Ivaylo Ivanov would be one of the most popular names in Bulgaria
Ivaylo was a national hero, similar to William Wallace.
Ivanov would be as spread family name, as is Smith.
Also, naming traditions in Bulgaria are the reason, if your family name is Ivanov, its very likely to have Ivan, Ivaylo or similar, as a first name.
Hence, the usual confusion with my younger countryman with the same name
I am also a Judo guy (and Sambo, and BJJ, and a Wrestling guy) but my Judo accomplishments are more humble.
Experience though, is entirely different matter.
Because I spent the last 20 years living, training and working in Japan, China, Mexico and Brazil.
Never stopped training.
Visited hundreds of gyms, including ones in USA.
So, I can safely say, when I express an opinion here, is not based on observation in 2 gyms, practicing one sport, for the last 3 years.

Sorry for the off topic

Awesome im on your website checking it out
Let me know if there is a topic you are interested, Id be happy to write another one and post it free.
Have some time on my hands in the last few weeks.

Countering a suplex? Just pull donkey guard.
