The Powerlifting Thread

Lots of thoracic dynamic stretches out there. Do a quick google search.
I find stretching is significantly more helpful than rolling for improving ROM. You can do both but don't just rely on rolling.

@JimRussel dunno if you know, but if front squats are in the Sheiko workout, are percentages of front squat or back squat max?

Oof. My neck, my back, my pussy and my crack. A week and a half into Sheiko and I'm cut to ribbons. I absolutely need a whole body mobility routine.

Benched 405x2 comfortably yesterday after benching hard on Monday. Wanted to take the 405 set next Monday when I’d be fresh, but gyms here are now shut down for at least two weeks again due to a COVID flare up.

Edit: BW around 235 lbs. Was trying to make a run up to a 2xBW bench, but I guess that’s on hold.

Get a home gym.

Just replace your furniture with gym equipment like Jason Blaha. Easy.
Plus, I like the gym. Home gyms are okay, but you can never get all the equipment you need into one. I like a lot of the machines at the gym.

I agree with you there. I end up doing a band variation of something that calls for machines. Its just not the same.

Gonna see how the stuff in this video improves my back squat positioning. I squatted today gripping at the sleeves with a lower bar position and it felt like shit. Want to get proper mechanics down.
