This is a crossroads fight for Garcia. He needs to a Masvidal type reinvention. Needs to realize that the reason he keeps coming up short in title matches is because he’s not trying hard enough. No more excuses or woulda coulda shoulda’s. Show more initiative. Step up the work rate and aggression across the board. Imo he’s done as a title contender if he pulls a Mikey Garcia against Spence

Would be pure speculation on how Spence's accident affected. Has anyone followed his training camp for this?

I have not for either man. I will say this, Danny is in a really good position here. Spence might not be fully recovered and while he may be an excellent boxer as he showed in Mikey fight, his decision to outbox Mikey shows his mentality to beat his opponents at own game. And he winds up being there to be hit when he stands and trades though I believe his defense is underrated in those instances, and I think that's the fight he'll pursue here kinda like the Brook fight. Might be a bad idea against Garcia who thrives at the range Spence was content to throw at in such a fight. Both these guys had nights they couldn't look normal against Porter, so no one's smothering the other, neither guy fights like that, no and I REALLY doubt Spence tries to outbox like Thurman. They are gonna fight at a range that really is gonna raise Garcias odds is what I mean (edit) I just cant be sure about this one, should be a good fight.
