People underestimate Fedor's boxing. Big time.

They think he's a sloppy brawler.

Which is just absurd.

He handily outstruck Crocop.

He is extremely technical. Just not always in a basic, bread and butter kind of way.

Fedor is absolutely sloppy with his punching. But it worked for him and his style, but the great equalizer to his sloppy punches is his insane hand speed. Just because you out strike someone doesn't mean you have proper form on your punches. Far from it in Fedors case.

Fedor was also cramping his style. Crocop was nearly always the superior striker up till the Crocop fight but Fedor could pressure him and not allow him to reset at his own pace.

Still doesn’t change the fact he fought awfully. A high level striker should set traps and counter high pressure and wild looping punches. Like Izzy vs Whittaker or Conor vs Alvarez. Many hold this fight in regard as the pinnacle of MMA, which is just ridiculous. Skill level shown there is mediocre to be honest. Fedor swinging like madman and CroCop circling to his power side throwing naked single punches and kicks until he’s taken down where he has no clue what to do. I’ve seen better fights on DWCS
