UFC FN 184 PBP/Discussion

You might win big since Sandhagen was too expensive.

I was stubborn and would have a winning team if I didn't have Ferreira in all of my teams. I took a stand and faded Dariush.

I looked. There's lineups with Sandhagen as captain, then Guida, Marquez, Smith, Volkov, Dariush. And there's at least one lineup that has Marquez as captain with the same 6 guys, and Marquez outscored Smith too.

Best I can do is tie for 3rd I think.

On Overeem lightly. Just something about this late run of Econoreem has him looking like the best fight IQ on the roster, always just finding a way to win whatever the path may be (sand the 5 seconds remaining Rosenstruick KO)

Round kinda went as expected. Overeem using the shell guard, Volkov landing some but nothing huge.

Volkov obvious rd 1.

Makes me wish Alistair was Still confident like he was vs Lesnar.

Damn. Volkov teed off.

That was sad to watch. Thankfully I think Reem has sounded smart that he’s on one last run and if he loses he’ll retire to end his legendary career

Fuck, just needed Reem to survive a tad bit longer for the over. Reem looked completely washed, did Volkov break his nose early or something.

i want overeem to get another title shot so bad, but was on volkov big there.

Wow was i wrong about that one......

Overeem looked lost before the fight even started.

Overeem said this was his last run at a title shot, so expect him to retire in the cage, or sometime soon.

Damnit, caught the over 1.5 @ -125, loved those odds, but lost by a few seconds.

Fuck. If I swap Sandhagen into the captain's spot for Smith it's $1300 vs winning $60. I had the right 6 guys, just wrong captain.

That sucks.

I rate Guida so lowly that MJ's performance and fall from what some would call grace is fucking disgusting to me.

+$267 thanks to Alexander Volkov.

His attitude about his career apparentl never matched his natural abilities. When the announcers were talking about him saying he'd "changed his behaviors" and stuff between fights it kinda made sense. That's great you're not partying now and and fucking around like you did before, but you don't make up that time lost. True pros were working all the way throughout their careers and are too far ahead of you that you can just catch up by deciding 10 year in to really be committed. It kinda makes sense now. Basically he's a guy who had decent power and good hands that couldn't deal with anyone who was a semi-skilled grappler that had some tenacity.

He could have probably been REALLY good had he been "all in". But his success rate will end up far below his God given ability.
