First Time On The Heavy Bag - Tips? (Can't seem to snap my hips with my left, and not getting the sn

Just saying if your cross is as long as your jab, you have a weak right hand. Basic physics. Mass times x, momentum and all that shit.
Don't confuse yourself with physics when you're drunk.

I'll keep it simple: the pupose of the jab is to set up the cross. Anything your jab can touch, your cross shoud be able to touch. If not, you're doing something wrong.

Touching isn't knocking out. Seen my right? I cry if I don't drop people with the first few clean punches. I don't punch for points.

Aren't they strictly MMA? Unfortunately, osteoarthritis in my knees prevents me from rolling, and blood clots in my calves prevent me from being kicked (could dislodge a clot and get a pulmonary embolism), so gotta stick strictly to boxing.

You should be able to just get boxing training! But there are some Tampa ones

Unfortunately, doesn't look like the Tampa branch offers it. Familiar with Tampa City Boxing at all? Just looking for a "real" boxing gym.
Box with crocodiles and gators. You'll always have the height advantage ;)

You look pretty decent, TBH. Maybe use your feet more and keep on keepin' on.

At the risk of soliciting feedback too often, are these any better? I know they're short clips, but I'm still working on my cardio (I dunno if you can tell, but I'm 330 lbs, lol).

Just realized my punches might be landing too low. I'm a 5'11" HW, so I feel like I probably need to punch "up" a bit. Just don't wanna break my wrist on the bag.

You're still too heavy on your lead leg so you lean forward. Keep your legs bent and keep your weight between them, don't throw it forward while straightening the lead one. And don't rush - do everything at slower pace at first.

Take a look at this, one of the best US coaches (RIP):

I'll take a look at the videos, thanks! I guess my problem is that, in my daily life, I almost always have all my weight on one leg or the other. Balancing feels weird.
