Wish I could say I stayed sober. I did not, I relapsed and wound up back in the hospital. Currently at it again 50 days sober today, working hard at it. :)

Keep at it, otherwise you could end up like TS here, and before you know it @Wormwood will come knocking with a plastic fork hahaha!

Your health will assuage people's worries, and even beyond that, could result in doing good for people. The less care you need for yourself, the more you have to offer.

Kinda saying this out loud for my own benefit too, full disclosure; care is a spectrum that spans a zero point and includes a negative range and a positive range, and no one is a paragon.

My low is just as bad as TS lol, probably worse. Last time I drank I just wanted to die. Once you start really trying to change theres no going back, at least not for me. Fuck all of that noise.

That’s awesome dude. A solid foundation of AA and really working the program is super effective. Hopefully you’re in a place with good meetings and solid sponsors that know their shit. I’ve done the steps with a sponsor on my own free time but also went to a 30 day inpatient AA based rehab. Super thorough teachers and by the time I was finished I had a fourth step that took up 5 notebooks. Lots of respect to you and good luck.

Yeah I'm super glad I went back to rehab, and found one that really was serious. Just did 45 days there and I learned alot, literally found god this time around. I learned alot from the last relapse which I pray is the final one in my life. Talk about misery, shit got dark. In a good place now, in sober living and working a solid program. Thanks man. :)

True story. Was in Bangkok last year passing the McDonalds across the street from Nana, and a ladyboy solicited me. Told him I was with my wife, and he said it’s no problem. He has a private room. I had been in Bangkok for no more than a couple hours at that time. Another fun fact... Ronald McDonald in Thailand is in the traditional Thai greeting pose (wai).

There is a McDonalds right by Nana Plaza as well and it’s just like you imagined.

I have a question about all the ladyboys in Thailand, I asked earlier in the thread but it dissapeared in all the comments.

Do people go see them because they are into ladyboys?

Or are they deceiving guys by pretending they are a woman and then it is more like a surprise when you take them home?
