Can we all agree Usman is a superior WW to St. Pierre?

Wait so Woodley(who was undefeated for years when Usman fought him) is not a strong wrestler??

{<doc}

Ok there. Woodley is WAY better wrestler than ANYBODY GSP faced. Go ahead and rip on Tyron now because he is obviously not the same mentally but Tyron blew away the best wrestler GSP ever beat in Kos.
You say “rip on him now” as if you believe Tyron went into that fight focused, and having put the rounds in to have the cardio to compete with someone like Usman.

He was gassed within minutes man. Yes that is partially due to Usman...but how many times have we seen someone has THAT quickly with such a low amount of output.

Woodley lost because he wasn’t focused, and he doesn’t put the rounds in. That doesn’t make Usman a better wrestler than GSP.

Tell me where Kamaru is better than GSP?

Other than having a little more power in his punches, he is basically a downgraded version of GSP everywhere.

I mean while Georges was decisioning Dan Hardy and Jake Shields back in his prime, today we have Usman finishing Colby, Burns and breaking Woodley(when Tyron was thought to be unbeatable).

Usman is a better wrestler with a better chin and has way more power than Georges. I don’t see Suburb-Jorge being able to do anything different in the
upcoming/unnecessary rematch.

You can not convince me that there is one person out there who legitimately does not think Usman would absolutely mop the floor with St. Pierre.

Usman is just a better, badder version.
When did you start trolling?

Feel like two years ago we were talking about how Woodley was the superior WW.

Not yet, but he is getting there and very well could go down as the greatest WW ever.

He finished the great Dan Hardy from top position.

Oh wait he didn’t
Nor did he finish the great striker Jake “K-1” Shields with his superior striking skills.

Can you imagine what Usman would have done to Shields??

Many of the guys Greases defended his title against were ONE dimensional...Hardy/striker...Shields/laughable stand up JJ guy.

Then he fought Hendricks...and well, retired.

Usman is fighting 14 loss Mas again, who did NOT even have to beat a contender to get a return shot... Or the first shot for that matter.. His last win was Nate.. You got Nate fighting for the belt? He's had 4 fights in 5 years, including a loss to Conor..

Hendricks??

{<hhh]

Umm...Hendricks dominated that fight and scared Greases into retirement.

Talking about wrestling right? Did GSP take him down multiple times? Try and keep track of your own babbling.

I don’t know....

I love the Usman era as much as the next guy but GSP’s striking when he turns it all on is so multi-faceted and technical. His only hold up would be having true KO power to finish fights....which Usman is displaying more and more of.

The better wrestler and striker doesn't really tell the whole story for GSP. The thing GSP did so well is switching back between the two. When you want ted to strike he wanted to wrestle. When you were ready to wrestle was throwing his stiff jab and staying to far out. It was his ability to switch between so fluidly that made him so good. No idea who wins between them though. At this level it could go either way.

I disagree, also Usman has a record of extremely boring fights other than the recent ones against Burns and Colby.
