Good luck.Signed up for a half marathon, it's in July and I'll be doing it with my girlfriend who will at that point be my wife (wedding cancelled twice this year due to Covid). First run was today, a nice easy 2 miles. It took 20 minutes and then I walked for another 15 minutes. I've got a plan that I'm following, so should be good to put in a semi respectable showing come July.
Road or trail?
We did 3 trails runs, 10k, half, full. By the time we got to the full, she was 6 weeks pregnant which is convenient because she didn't train more than a single 15 miler (4 miles of walking at the end).
More enjoyable running through some hills and valleys in scotland in August then on the road down south.
