poor Diego man this is super sad... he was going to have a retirement fight and would have been a shoe-in for the UFC hall of fame even though he never won a title. Now he'll be remembered as a laughing stock. He'll sign with the PFL or bellator and they'll feed him to MVP or some other can crusher and he'll get even more brain damage. At least Cowboy would have been a competitive fight. Ah well.

I was looking forward to seeing Diego vs Donald, that's a fight I never thought would happen. I think Diego really might have retired after, no chance of that now.

It's sad but also totally pointless. Diego's been fighting for like 20 years. He doesn't need to get used to getting hit. He needs to avoid getting hit in training. It seems like Fabia is just doing this because he has no actual fighting skills to show Diego. Diego must be really really really fucked in the head to take this guy on to prepare him for fights. He's gonna get him seriously hurt by throwing him out there not trained properly. Just throw him out there with no offense or no defense. Just as a punching bag like in this "training session".

I don't know about the rest of his family at this point, they were into his career back in the day, but he left his wife because she didnt want him to fight anymore. So I'm guessing their opinions might not matter much in his decisions.
