Drummers that sing lead..

Blue Oyster Cult’s Albert Bouchard sang lead on 2-3 songs per album, including live favourite ‘Cities On Flame (With Rock And Roll)’

Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters on his solo stuff, plus the odd song live with the Foo's

Kelly Keagy from Night Ranger normally sings a song or two per album

Peter Criss (Ex Kiss)

Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees)

Brann Dailor (Mastodon)

How hard are you really playing if you can sing and hit the skins....that is for light pop stuff.

Brann Dailor of Mastodon. He started doing backing vocals in 2005 and then added doing lead vocals in 2008. Lead guitarist Brent Hinds and bassist Troy Sanders also do lead and backing vocals. Rhythm guitarist Bill Kelliher only does backing vocals

Roger Taylor of Queen. Surprising pick but his lead vocal work on I'm in Love with my Car from A Night at the Opera is perfect. He makes it look effortless to sing and play the drums together

The night they drove old Dixie down is probably in my top 5 favorite songs ever. The last waltz version is flawless in my opinion.

I thought i saw Bill say he doesn't do vocals because three singers is enough but he does have a mic stand infront of him in that vid, weird I'm sure he said that. I have a had a really hard time getting into Mastadon as it seems like they are all pulling the band in different directions. Just doesn't seem very cohesive to me..

They are one of my favorite bands and for me personally each member compliments the other. Their biggest weakness for awhile has been their vocals and especially live. They have gotten really good now with the overall sound of the vocals and especially with the introduction of Brann on vocals

Yeah I love Mastodon but live their vocals are ordinary, Brent Hinds is no good (but a great guitar player). I'd be happier if Troy Sanders did all the vocals and Brann back up and that's it.

On topic Gotye is a very good drummer, it's his main instrument actually

Also there's a local band here called Spiderbait whose main vocalist is the drummer
