Or, I should say that her song SUMMERTIME SADNESS is. I enjoy some of her other songs like BORN TO DIE, VIDEO GAMES & BLUE JEANS as well. But I could put SUMMERTIME SADNESS on repeat & listen to it for the entire night without getting weary of it. Both because it was one of my wife, Jana's favorite songs & it reminds me of her. And because many people used to tell her that she resembled Lana Del Rey quite a bit so I enjoy watching Del Rey's videos & seeing which ones that's most true about. So, far it's true of a lot of them but especially of BORN TO DIE. Which, I suppose, is ironic.

A talented singer for sure. I was sceptical at first, but she has good songs.

Norman Fucking Rockwell is an amazing album imo, latest release isn't anywhere near as good as that but still decent.

She has a great voice and is probably one of the most influential artists of the past decade. Great especially to listen to while driving around the countryside

I forgot how I ever first heard her but I legit had Nirvana "Nevermind" vibes while listening to "Born to Die". Every track felt like it could be a single or at the very least was something special.

If she has one problem is that some of her albums are a little too samey but she then usually follows it up with something really good. It's good to see an artist as big as her putting on fairly progressive and challenging music to a mainstream crowd.

I keep finding more & more stuff by her that I absolutely love. I've become obsessed with this song now.

And to think that I used to only really know her as that chick in the Cucci ads with Jared Leto.

I knew next to nothing about her until a little while back. Just assumed it was typical radio stuff. I'd have to listen to more songs but a few of those I heard were a pleasant surprise. Mariner's Apartment Complex was one of them.

Yeah, that's a good tune. There are a whole lot of them to choose from as she's been fairly prolific since her debut album a decade or so ago. I've barely scratched the surface myself because since really getting into her work I've been busy listening to the same six or seven songs over & over again. So, I've got a whole lot left to discover.

Always seemed like a poor man’s Mazzy Star to me.

Hello me from 2013.

Me from 2 years ago found that Norman Rockwell was a fantastic album.
