You are a doomer. Fear sells.
He's worse, @Queen B is a part of the systemic oppression of minorities, and he is a proponent of coercing and forcing unwanted medical procedures on black and brown folks. The fact that he keeps the BLM logo is just adding insult to injury, and I can't believe mods here allow him to promote his racist agenda under the BLM banner.

Texas officials deny hospitals' requests for hundreds of emergency staff to help with COVID surge

FORT WORTH, Texas — Texas officials are now denying requests from hospitals for additional staffing as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations surge across the state.

Hospitals in North Texas have requested 619 clinical support staff to help fill vacancies and emergency needs according to the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC).

“This delta variant is wreaking havoc in North Texas,” Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council President Steve Love said. “We've got non-COVID patients. We have COVID patients and frankly, we've got a very fatigued workforce.”

State officials previously approved requests from regional hospital councils. The Department of State Health Services spent $5.39 billion funding requests for medical surge staffing, almost all of which reimbursed by FEMA, according to a spokesperson. At the peak of needs in February, the state was supporting 13,618 medical staff.

Now the state is denying those requests and telling hospitals to ask city and county leaders to use federal COVID relief funds, but local leaders had much of that money already accounted for. Dallas County has not approved its plan but is expected to use its $512 million on programs like broadband infrastructure, affordable housing, and business assistance.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said they plan to appeal to the state to ask them to reverse the decision.

"We had planned to use the money to increase broadband, for mental health care, for rental assistance and other programs. What the state is saying is ‘we’re not going to help you anymore with COVID through mask requirements or allowing hospitals and schools to do things to keep people safe," Jenkins said. “Their excuse to us is that they’re using their money to help other jurisdictions. Not real clear what those other jurisdictions are.”

Love says as the issue is worked out, hospitalizations continue to rise rapidly every day.

ahh the GOP. the pro-life party, but only when its convenient for them. just let them all die i guess. bunch of old farts! and while theyre at it, they may as well just work the health care employees around the clock to the point of sheer exhaustion where they have a mental breakdown and just up and quit, or even god forbid, commit suicide.

"FUCK MEDICAL SUPPORT! LET GRANNY DIE! THESE MAGA LOVIN GUBMINT OFFICIALS SAID SO! F YEAH! HER DEATH SHALL BE A GLORIOUS SACRIFICE TO THE STOCK GODS THAT SHALL MAKE US ALL PROSPEROUS!"- Republicans in 2021

but hey, its their voters who are dying while they treat the pandemic as a test of their ideology. even though a virus does not give a shit about anybodies political beliefs or affiliation.

That's what happens when they mandate vaccines for hospital staff and start shitcanning everyone who refuses. Oops.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that the same stats people used for not being worried about Covid like the 99% percent survival rate, are being used by the pro vaccine people to say that when vaccinated you have a 99% percent rate of surviving covid if vaccinated. The only difference is that last .6 or.8 number.

I also hear that the people dying from vaccines also say that people who are having complications from the vaccine have co morbidity factors including when mentioning long covid.

Now I will be getting vaccinated because I have to for resumption of normal life, but I am definitely not thinking it will have any effect on my morbidity factor re:covid. If I die from it with a vaccine, I genuinely believe I would have without it.
Hilarious isn’t the emotion I’d describe, no.

wouldnt want anybody to come in to get their sprained ankle checked out and come out of there with polio now would we?

im sure most people in the medical field have been turning down vaccines for decades now. its all a bunch of communism and government mind control.

you nailed it son. there must be a massive amount of hospital workers losing their jobs! theres headlines about it every day. just like all of those people from the military we hear about who got court martialed for going AWOL after refusing to take one shot, when theyve already had like 40 others.

The oral polio vaccine confers sterilizing immunity; it stop transmission dead.
Covid vaccines don't stop transmission, so yes, that patient with the sprained ankle is going to come out with covid regardless of the vaccination status of the hospital staff.

delta is surging and the hospitalizations are going up. it only makes sense that they would need to hire more staff and even bring in more beds and equipment just to be able to handle the patient load more efficiently. i mean thats just common sense. but hey, what do i know? surely it must be because of all the people losing their jobs for not taking the shot or whatever. we read about that every day.

but for some reason, texas doesnt seem to care anymore. it just means more people will likely die unnecessarilly, but i guess they may as well be injecting meth into the remaining staff members arms too as more people end up having to be hospitalized by the virus, just to keep them awake and functioning while they work longer shifts just to try to keep up with the overwhelming demand

Polio is spread by oral-fecal route.

Not sure what kind of treatment you were in for, but you may want to get a second opinion.

maybe polio wasnt the best example i could have used for that. fair enough.

but hey, even without my polio shot i wouldnt want to trip and fall over my mcgregored ankle and land face first in a toilet that an anti-vaxxer nurse just shat in. shit happens i guess.

More than 150 employees resign or are fired from Houston hospital system after refusing to get vaccinated

“Houston Methodist was one of the nation's first health systems to impose a coronavirus vaccine mandate. More than 150 health-care workers who did not comply with a Houston-based hospital system's vaccine mandate have been fired or resigned, more than a week after a federal judge upheld the policy.”

well, my heart bleeds purple piss for them. hopefully theyll still be able to find jobs and get some good health insurance coverage, cause theyll need it if the china sniffles hits them hard and they need to be hospitalized.

At least in Canada's Ontario they arent forcing students or staff to be vaccinated. Yet..

It finally clicked to me the other day that it's the exact same arguments on both sides. The difference is just vaccine vs covid and who is saying it.
I would love to go through and do a montage of people saying both sides haha.

The difference between the 2 sides is that one side wants freedom. The other political side is supportive of forcing mask mandates and forcing covid vaccines or you pay the price.

They believe it's freedom from dying of the Fauci virus. Two different sides that would have been completely the opposite if the other side had won the lection.

And ANOTHER lie! Seriously, WTF?!

This guy needs to go.

Edit: the source says a third shot is needed for immunocompromised folks, NOT the general population. That makes a difference and you should clarify instead of quoting the single paragraph.

This is a red flag to me. We are in a pandemic and hospitals are willing to lose employees that don't comply and take a vaccine.

Another red flag and most polls i really question but this one is takes another ridiculous tone. Its like a push for polticans to actually do it based on fake polls.
Poll shows majority of Canadians support barring unvaccinated from public gatherings

But as the Nanos poll shows, there is no meaningful split. The real reason Mr. Ford and other conservative premiers are reluctant to act may involve greater resistance to vaccination among voters in rural areas – key conservative constituencies.

Nonetheless, politicians who oppose restrictions on the unvaccinated do so in defiance of the wishes of a great majority of voters.
and wouldnt be like something out of a dictatorship?
If this crap becomes mandatory i will be gladly agaisnt it. If the 70% 80% are so far vaccinated why do you want everyone to become fully vaccinated? whats really their the goal?

But 80 per cent of Canadians don’t want to go anywhere near those who won’t.
If the vax works why are they wanting to ban un vaccinated when even the vaccinated could spread the delta variant easily as the un vaccinated?

Encouraging more people to get vaccinated by banning them from work or play unless they do is another good reason for imposing restrictions. The state may have no right to insist you ingest a substance against your will, however beneficial that substance may be
Because that would be like dictatorship "Comply or else no play" "Obey our leaders"

He stressed that the poll does not indicate support for mandatory vaccination, only for limits on the rights of the unvaccinated to be present in “any public gathering that involves people being close together,” such as workplaces, college campuses, hospitals, airplanes, public transit, gyms, shops and supermarkets.

That still would be dictatorship and violating the Canadian charter rights of people. Limiting their free movements. And the denial service of healthcare.

And that still would count as mandatory vaccination when your baring or banning un vaccinated people from going to hospitals you are going way to far. It would be ironic if a majority of nurses start quitting over these vaccines and idiotic policy decisions.

(Nanos surveyed 1,002 adult Canadians by phone and online between July 30 and Aug. 2, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.)

I don't take polls of this sample size seriously. There are 38 million people in Canada. It's an easy way to say 80% of the country agrees with our agenda.
