What genre of music is best?

I'm not a fan of Geddy Lee's voice either but I still love Rush, I love Megadeth too so clearly I can tolerate shit vocals ha ha

Hated Mustaine’s too at first but then I realized I was unfairly comparing him to James Hetfield.

Now I accept that he has his own schizo style. Lmao

I think Mustaine's best vocals are on songs like Sweating Bullets, where he gets to spit them out. But I've just learnt to accept them over the years I suppose, I'm there for the riffs though let's be honest

The break up talk for a year during the tour is what made the label fuck off and let them do metropolis 2, which is now considered the greatest concept album of all time and their magnum opus

Hip-Hop (rap) and Rock are my favorites.

Would have said a decade ago, without a second thought, metal/rock for me, but now it depends on mood. Loving all types of music really puts a damper on these kinds of questions.

Some variation of rock, for me personally I’d say indie rock because it’s so broad.

Classic rock, folk rock, piano rock, yacht rock, it's all good.

My favorite bands of all time are Limp Bizkit, Snoop, Dre, Eminem and Korn. So I'd say :eek::eek:-metal and rap are the best.

It's not hindsight or past hate. The band themselves let apologies for the album out in interviews, flat out telling folks that they were forced In this direction by the label, the month it was released, and that none of them wanted to do it or go in a commercial direction and that they were contemplating a break up. The break up talk for a year during the tour is what made the label fuck off and let them do metropolis 2, which is now considered the greatest concept album of all time and their magnum opus, or at least tied with operation mind crime.

Hollow years is one of the only good songs on that album lol.

Who considers it the greatest concept album?

I could go on here. Honestly, I've never ever heard it mentioned in the discussion.

When it came out for years after it was tying or beating mind crime and pink Floyd in the top 3. I haven't checked ranking shifts recently, but that album still stands the test of time.

Those lists you just posted make me lol. Greenday: American idiot is ranked as one of the top concept albums of all time in both lists

But yeah, if Floyd fans and the who fans come out in droves, they can internet vote 4 albums up and in.
