International Pentagon says Kabul attack was an error

I love how the MSM is spinning this : they literally are trying to show that Trump was a threat on his way out, while admitting they blew up 10 innocent civillians.... AKA WAR CRIME. I don't play party politics, but it's funny how these generals are out there calling Trump someone who would do irrational things while under Biden we had a complete shit show exit of Afghanistan and made sure to commit a blatant war crime on the way out....

Make sense?

It's ok, we said sorry.

Someone start a thread about Africa to put this particular "shit happens" thread in context. Nobody will do that.

There's nothing to say here. Apologies mean little when you've just blown innocent people up, I'm a little surprised they copped to it.

As long as U.S. has this kind of foreign policy, there will "terrorists" seeking revenge. It's amazing that this act is not considered a terrorist act. I guess when you're a super power you can write your own narrative.

Like the right really gives a hoot if they were innocent civilians

According to them, the only good muslim is a...

Imagine the ability to admonish yourself infinitely under the guise of "we thought it was good intel". Imagine side-stepping every war crime convention and peacekeeping charter with this as an excuse to destabilize the world.

Incredible.

Well that was a giant fuck up. First the target a non terrorist killing him and his family and other people. Then try and cover it. The buck stops with creepy Joe but when you get down to it the fault is with the people that gave the wrong Intel and those the go the go without proper verification. Creepy Joe was part of that but only part of it.
There's no substitute for good human intelligence on the ground, something our military has never been good at.

Didn't that general say they were certain they got an isis member a few days ago? How can people screw up so much and not face consequences?

Oh yeah it's a government job

That's Milley. The guy is a fat fucking buffoon. Honestly, he should be fucking fired at a minimum. But a trial would be true justice.

I guess the outrage over this is good, even though I'm not sure how genuine some of is. Would have been nice to see this kind of energy at virtually any point in the last couple of decades, but

I think it's because the media was fixated on it in this case. It was Biden and the US getting revenge for the fallen soldiers. Remember, the first reporting on this was all high fives.

Then the NYT through a monkey wrench in all of it.

I'm almost at a point where maybe we should as a WORLD, ban drones.

I bet the military vaporizes random ass goat herders all the time and counts them as ISIS or Taliban. There was just too many eyes on Kabul for the bullshit story to hold up for long.

There was a roughly 2 year period where every single adult male killed was either Taliban or ISIS......

"That general" is the current chairman of the joint chiefs of staff. And current celebrity.

No disciplinary action expected.

How the hell do these assholes "stand by the intel"?

"I want to understand white rage; let's go vaporise some brown kids!"

Cunts.

American intelligence needs to be ignored more often - it barely appears to exist.
