Anybody know about this gun? Is it worth the hype?

Not much of a looker, but seems to get top ranking in comparison videos on youtube.

I generalize all 1911s and their variants as fudd guns. Old tech, generally less safe than modern firearms, single action, super low capacity (which might be okay if you're jot in a free state), and generally much less reliable than they get credit for.

As far as 1911s go though, STI is top notch. Very good reputation in the industry.

I have a Ruger 1911 9mm. I love it.

a 1911 chambered in anything other then .45 ACP is sacrilege especially in 9MM so just get a Hi-Power clone instead.
