Also joseph lasiri won't land a glove on prajanchai.

Some great fights. Having panpayak as an alternate is a joke though. Maybe they don't want too many thais in the semis etc

There'd be 2 glaring problems if Panpayak was in though...

- Which side of the bracket would he be in? He'd have to be with Superlek, which could eliminate the dream final they are hoping for.

- Regardless of which half he's in, there's a possibility he could be fighting his teammate Rodtang, and if it's anything like Petchyindee they'd probably refuse to be in the tournament if that was a possible outcome.

I imagine the only reason they both agreed to be in it is because Panpayak is an alternate and not a starter.

Haggerty, Kiria, Petchmorakot and Vienot all failed the hydration test. They get one more chance at 4pm. Not sure what that means. If they hydrate doesn't that mean they'll put water weight back on and be over the weight limit? Having to maintain the weight cut for several more hours and somehow find a way of passing the hydration test seems tough. Not even sure why they get a second chance. You either scrap the whole hydration tests or don't let your fighters fight. How can you take these tests seriously if you're just gonna give those who fail a second chance.

It's far from the first time it has been joke don't overthink it they're just going to act like nothing happneed as they did the other times.

It's a charade. They literally tell people to go pound down water to try and pass the test after failures.

What happened to Opačić vs Inocente?
Was looking forward to that one.

I guess we need to stay tuned for news..

They do this every now and again, they just take fights off a card and plop them on the next one or one closely following. Luckily this card is still one of the best striking cards in years.

I was wondering who the hell Panpayak was facing so did a little digging and it was pretty difficult because in some fights he's called Joshua, in others he's called Jose and ONE are calling him Josue so I was wondering if he had a brother but it seems like the same guy. From what I've seen he's a decent fighter. That being said he hasn't fought anyone like Panpayak but I'm just a little more interested after watching some of his fights. It's good to see random muaythai fighters coming from countries I didn't even know had any type of muaythai infrastructure. I want the sport to keep growing and so the more variety the better.

If Petmorakot failed the hydration test I'd say hes gotten bigger since his days fighting at 142-147. Not sure if he got more jacked or more fat.

Yeah it’s not the first time I notice a change like this on a ONE card.
Also they postponed Bucheda’s fight due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, like are they still testing fighters for covid? Cause no one else is doing that anymore..

And you’re right, this card is still great!

So the Panpayak, Haggerty, Kiria, and Opacic fights are off. Haggerty replaced by Cruz. Prajanchai just made weight today (btw how do you cut weight and get more hydrated at the same time lol), bit of a mess.

That sucks, though ONE did just post the updated card on their youtube feed and Kiria's match is still there.

ONE hydration test is BS so no need to worry too much about it. Please refer to Akiyama to see a man cutting ridiculous weight but claiming that he barely cut water weight lol

Damn, that really sucks. I was really looking forward to today's card but it suddenly lost quite a bit of its shine.
