According to the TS' rules, they can be considered a OHW; Silent Lucidity is the only single to ever break the US Billboard 100, peaking at 9. Real World is their next best performing single, but that only reached #111.
All but 2 of their studio albums reached the top 100 though.

It breaks my heart seeing Queensryche on here as a "one hit wonder" since I grew up loving most of their music lol.

Tom's Diner I don't think is a very good song really, but the nostalgia is too strong not to vote for it.

In The Summertime was just just recently stuck in my head, such a great song.

I don't think Queensryche is a one hit wonder band. Everyone who likes 80s hair metal likes Jet City Woman.

Queensryche is no one hit Wonder. Between Empire and Operation Mindcrime there were several hits and both albums sold millions. Jet City Woman, Eyes of s A Stranger, Best I can. I Dont belive in Love...all charted and had heavy MTV play.

Soft Cell ruled the 80s with that shit song.
Do You Love Me left cultural impact.
Mickey and I want Candy huge MTV hits
EMF Unbelievable and Jesus Jones Right Here battled a whole year....

Technically, they only had one Top 40 hit on the US chart. It can get a bit weird with bands who are popular but not "pop". They tend not to hit the top 40 even with successful songs. Like Alice in Chains only had one song that charted on the US charts. And it's not one of the ones you'd think it would be (it's 2009's Check My Brain). But they've had 18 songs in the top 10 of the Mainstream Rock charts.

Not because I thought it was better, but because it was everywhere! People still say this for some reason. I have fond memories of my kids, all my nieces, and yes, all the grown ups too, dancing to this repeatedly on Just Dance for the Wii.'
It was hard to leave out ooh, child (based mostly on Guardians of the Galaxy), Mickey, I want candy, der Kommisar, Groove is the Heart, and Silent Lucidity.
