Smotrytsky (jew with a Slavic name) failed again and lost in round 1. Ouch.

He's probably thinking that he should have stayed in Bellator, but on the other hand he's so young and now knows he has a lot to work on.

UFC didn't realize that when you get into these types of matchups like Bellator has on their prelims, these guys 25% of the time miss weight.

I don't blame Borrego for missing weight considering he fought 6 weeks ago and definitely had a suspension due to some of the damage he took.

Borrego is not a bad fighter but he is still very green and definitely not ready to compete in the UFC. This is a total setup fight intended to make Nickal look good. Nickal should be facing another accomplished wrestler that has flashed some knockout power not a fighter with no wrestling background that only went professional 4 months ago.

No idea what matchups they are gonna give Nickal in the UFC? Probably a bunch of strikers who will get taken down and then people will rave how is amazing

The UFC hasn't cut Tresean Gore (3-2 MMA) or Gilbert Urbina (6-2 MMA) yet so I would guess one of them will be his first opponent. Nick Maximov or Jacob Malkoun as his second opponent since both are inferior wrestlers without knockout power. Then Andre Petroski, a wrestler with finishing ability, as his third opponent.

Petroski seems like he could be a legitimately dangerous opponent for Nickal.
 
Erik Silva? Kids a prospect alright but isn't he a little young even for DWCS?

This. You can chuck in the Pickett/Tiulin winner too, IMO.

I don't think the plan was for Nickal to sign anywhere other then the UFC. They are really hyping him up as well on all their socials, wouldn't be surprised if he isn't already signed to some kind of deal and they are just pretending he isn't so he can get experience with the UFC push
