Starting right now!

I haven’t really been following Alistair since he left or much of Glory for that matter, who do you think has the edge in this fight? I know Badr can swang and Reems chin ain’t what it used to be

He’s the man

Reem has a tiny head and when he packs on all the muscle he looks kinda jowly with chubby cheeks but the guy used to have/kinda still does have model good looks, the women in Japan loved him back in the day was the word.

Looks like Steve Bash (was that his name?) is digging Overeem in the second photo.

Well, Reem is a very dangerous fighter and game against everyone imo. The guy is strong as hell and can crack.
Badr’s fight results have been inconsistent over the last couple of years, but basically he was winning all these fights, until he found a way to lose:)
Didn’t get outclassed at all in these fights like for example Tony Ferguson in the skid he’s on. That’s why I’m confident in saying that Badr is still one of the best.
In fact, he dominated Rico, Benny, Arek, all until the fight ended in Badr getting injured or getting KO’d by a freak hail-mary highkick attempt in Arek’s case.
This tells me a lot. Badr still has it, he put Rico in a world of trouble. If he just decided to box Rico after the second knockdown, he would’ve put him away in that very same round and became Glory HW-champion that night. Instead he chose to throw a crazy spinning kick that injured him, resulting in the fight getting stopped (in his head he probably KO’d the super-wobbled Rico with that spinning kick and the highlight of it would’ve been worldwide news, so I get where his attempt was coming from;))
He made easy work of Arek, literally easy work and he fought the perfect fight scoring 3 knockdowns, and then Arek landed that perfectly placed kick to the temple. The kick was beautiful though, props to Arek Wrzosek.
So yeah, I’m sure Badr still got it, he just has to find a way to not get injured this time, and when he smells blood he should not desperately hunt the finish, cause that increases the chance of him getting caught..

Hari is still a very game and dangerous fighter, however his ability to take damage declined and isn’t the best anymore.

On a good day he’s still able to beat everybody.
Look at his fights with Rico Verhoeven and Arek Wrzosek.
He was beating there ass until he eventually got injured (Rico fight) or knocked out losing composure and hunting the finish to much (Arek fight).
At some point in both fights Badr smelled blood and went into killmode, resulting in him getting KO’d/injured and therefore losing the fight.

Badr Hari vs Rico Verhoeven (2) full fight:

Highlights of the Rico fight:

Badr Hari vs Arek Wrzosek (1) full fight:

Highlights of the Arek fight:

Badr looked fast and explosive against Rico and had an aggressive approach with some nice level changes in his punch selection.
He also made sure Rico didn’t fight his own game and forced him to get into somewhat of a firefight with Badr.
Badr ate quite some big shots from Rico that didn’t seem to bother him that much aswell.

Badr had a good gameplan against Arek (going to the body) that he sticked to throughout the fight and he looked more calm and composed in his approach than we’ve seen him in recent years, resulting in him scoring 3 knockdowns, looking very dominant and in total control of the fight (until the KO ofcourse).

who do you think has the edge in this fight?
But to answer your question;)

I think Badr will come out aggressively, looking for the kill, while Reem will be a bit more tentative early on.
If Reem survives the early onslaught, his chances of winning increase.
But Badr will be dangerous at any second of the fight, and I also think like that of Overeem, who’s a powerhouse himself.
Gonna be a banger of a fight anyway, I’m very excited to attend the event tomorrow.
May the best man win !

Crazy to think that Reem has to be the matador.. cheers for the educated breakdown. You’re fortunate to be in attendance too  I will be watching from my computer hoping for a Reem Sagat knee from hell
