Looking for recommendations for a long / deep finger compartment to ensure my knuckles are striking the bag rather than my fingers !

Currently use the Rival rb1 2.0 which does a great job at this with its long curved compartment but I want to add to my collection.

Edit: Solely for bag work, 5ft10, 165llb, I like gloves that aren't big and clunky, looking for 12-14oz

Just going to say that Winning's are too short for me personally

Sabas Bella's are pretty good. I had some Barric gloves with a nice finger compartment but the thumb was too short so I cut the thumbs off. TopBoxer Win1 is good for this also.

I see what you mean about the Sabas Bella's but unfortunately I can't get them in the UK.

and I have a pair of winnings 12oz sitting in my draw that need to be sold for that exact reason, they were too short for me :( Was hugely dissapointed.

I've communicated with topboxer about this, they actually recommended the alien would be better for a longer compartment and not the Win1. Do you know if all the comms at TB are with the maker/owner or does he have lots of people under him now? I know he customises gloves but I have a feeling Irfan won't change the mould itself in a custom order in order to make room for longer fingers.

They do try to accommodate for longer fingers in custom orders. I am also in the UK and Sabas shipping was not that bad. I have both Alien and Win1 gloves that fit my fingers. Alien has longer thumb than Win1.

In the UK? Probably Pro-Am Campeón. Not the comfiest glove, but great protection, feedback, and the deep finger pocket you want. I have regular Campeón, it's literally the same glove with a different logo.

Edit: they don't feel like sand paper or anything like that, but when compared to UK brands like Fly, don't expect anything similar. I think they're pretty comfortable compared to other Mexican made gloves, for example, Cleto Reyes.

I couldn't get my fingers into my Campeon gloves, although mine were only 10 or 12oz so bigger weights could be better. Really didn't like the thumb though.

That seems to be a pattern with you, lol. What thumb do you like? I have 16's and the finger pocket is crazy deep, almost absurd, but I like it because of the fist I form. I don't have complaints with many thumbs, the only one that comes to mind that really bothers me is Cassanova, and those seem to be a Mex favorite on here.

Winning and Fly have good thumbs, the Alien thumb is good on TopBoxer. Sabas Bella has a nice thumb.

You really love those Bella's, you make me want to try Sabas. I've been hesitant after all the bad reviews, but maybe I should give it a shot, I'm a total New Sporting Stan rn (so I should be more open). Any feedback on Phenom? They're supposed to be Rivals old manufacturer in Pakistan. I love the ergonomics of Rival, but hate the aesthetic (loud designs).

I had some phenom fight gloves that were comfy and had a nice thumb. I could get my fingers into them iirc

Excuse me to join the conversation. So you think rival change their manufacture ao the qc become bad? The phenom sg210 feels similar like their guerrero training gloves, but now they have HH series. Let us see if the phenom will have it too lol

I'm not sure it was a QC issue since Phenom seems to have a pretty good reputation online. I haven't personally tried any of their products outside of their headgear. I'm only saying what I've heard. From the outside looking in, the most obvious examples are their bag mitts and the gloves with d30 that look like the Guerrero's. I'm sure there are people on here more knowledgeable than I who could answer this.

I have huge hands. I've always worn Rival and Winning gloves.

The ONE FC gloves by Fairtex are awesome

I ordered some 16oz Aliens and they were crazy short. It was a custom glove order, I sent in my dimensions and they said stock sizing would fit ... well I had to sell the gloves as they were unusable. Significantly shorter than R2C C17s if you've tried those.

thank you for your reply ... that's really helpful but also worrying because Topboxer told me I'd prefer the Alien over the Win1 because it has a deeper finger compartment and will suit my longer fingers ... but you've said the exact opposite! Despite how good their customisation is for designs they haven't inspired much confidence in me with the fit which is why I still haven't ordered with them. I'm thinking of getting a pair of Fly gloves because I've tried them and they fit really well.

I posted photos somewhere comparing the Aliens to the R2C. It's quite obvious the finger compartment is much shorter. Check my thread history.
I've never tried Fly but I think fit is the most important part in a glove, so if you're able to try them on, and they fit well, go for them.

Win1 definitely has longer fingers, Alien has longer thumb

I don't personally think fly has a very deep finger compartment but if they fit well. Why not get them they're a great glove

Fly are amazing man, if you could get them, you should imo. Mine are 12 oz and they fit amazing. I have pretty large hands. I expect 14 and 16oz to be even roomier.
