RJJ wasnt really a HW,he just moved up there and beat a weak champ and came back down. If he's a HW than Pettis is a WW.

He is also an old man now.

Great fight but to me Aldo was leaps ahead in boxing ability. He just gassed too soon and it went downhill cause Jeremy does have the dog in him. Then he was smart and kept going for Aldo's gas tank. It was a very entertaining fight nevertheless, I was surprised.


The main reason for me that it was so good is because there was almost none (if any that I recall) hugging from either to rest. Hugging in boxing kills it for me.

Jacare did that a lot with Vitor and it worked to slow him down, but painful to watch nevertheless.
