This could be a long( controversial) shot, but I think Pet is lazy. Don't think he trained as much for this fight( judging from this fight and his relaxed too behaviour).

I think I know why Pet hasn't gone to ONE yet. What's the point in fighting hard( and training hard too) for peanuts and harder opponents in 4oz when he can beat up Glory fighters that the he's level above for good pay, at the same time opening up a gym in a new country( Canada). Fair play to him nonetheless go chase that bag.

Petch was winning on points but if you dont get wobly and you feel your punches are hurting the opponent then you will be on a winning mood.

I think this is the reason he did so well, he didnt think he was behind on points.

Exactly. He could of won this fight easily without taking damage but he chose to stick in the pocket without moving his head to be exciting. He fought way too cocky in the last few rounds.

Petch's boxing didn't look "better". He was throwing more punches sure, but he was also getting hit much more and looked sloppy. I'm not sure if this was just him trying to work on things or what, but he didn't look great

Petch was way more serious when he fought Kento than he did against Ahmad last night, he looked like he was sparring.

Mousa did well, hes 23 so will improve. Petchpanomrung lives in Canada now so I suspect he has much lower quality sparring partners and will be surrounded by unhealthy food so could mess him up.

Petch has been training in Vancouver Canada for the last few months. Not sure why he left Yokkao in Bangkok but he's been specifically training with his translator Adrian (no disrespect to him but I don't consider him as Petch original trainer). The saying goes it takes a fighter seven fights to adjust to a new trainer. In the case of Petch he is experienced enough but I think he was trying a new approach which is outside of what's natural to him and that doesn't always work out well. Also no disrespect to Glory but with what ONE is doing Glory seems a little irrelevant to me at Petch weight class and I was disappointed when I heard Petch was re-signing with Glory. I want to see him in ONE under muaythai rules. I think he could be a good 145lb & possibly 155lb addition.

Finally watched this show. Adegbuyi looked like shit! Gassed in 1 and a half minute and got outboxed by his chubby opponent. He is probably totally unmotivated with Rico and Badr Hari clogging up the division.
And Petpanomrung was trying to act like Rodtang blocking punches with his face. Could go wrong if he keeps doing this.
