That fight was almost 4 years ago. Cory has put in a lot of work & leveled up a lot since then. He had a lot of success using his wrestling vs Font & Vera in his last 2 fights.

Pretty solid card, I don't think MVP vs Thompson will ever happen though. It would probably just be a boring staring contest / point fight because they are both too in tune with what the other guy does so nobody is going to land anything of impact.

I know Australia & NZ aren't that close but Izzy literally just headlined the last PPV in Australia, and it's very likely he's going to be in the main event of the next PPV there vs DDP.

Depends on the outcome of some other fights. I think Strickland & Chimaev would be ahead of him in the title shot queue if they win their fights. Cannonier won't be able to sit on the sidelines for 6+ months waiting for a title shot even if he wins this. Cannonier is just a guy you want to get...
