Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

You seem unable to distinguish between an entire nation and its paramilitary arm that wasn't even democratically elected. You also seem to be unclear on why the US is pressuring its proxy to dial back operations and avoid excessive casualties. There's pretty of blame to go around, and Israel...

Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

Yes, but cheerleading and justifying what shouldn't be acceptable in the first place is baffling, both morally and strategically in this situation.

Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

For violence and war, to put it mildly. You seem to be implying that children are fair game in war.

Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

They are overwhelmingly civilians who never had a chance to vote for the government. By that logic, middle schoolers in America are fair game for their parents voting for GW Bush.

International Biden calls US ally Japan ‘xenophobic’ along with Russia and China

If that's the case, why has the Japanese government been so obsessed with increasing the supply of labor through a higher birth rate?

What legal hurdles do you think your ancestors had to overcome to become Americans?

Social Can homeless people be fined for sleeping outside? A rural Oregon city asks the US Supreme Court

What's the definition of loitering in your mind? Or to put it more concretely, how does a law distinguish between someone loitering on the side walk for 2 hours and me standing on the sidewalk for 2 hours because I like the view? A basic rule of thumb with laws like this is a person has to be...

Most vagrancy laws would be tossed out by courts if challenged. That's partly why they are not enforced very vigorously.

Social Minimum Wage now at $20 an hour in California

Why is it irrelevant? If not then 1900. The idea that the minimum wage has never helped is wildly ignorant.

Social Minimum Wage now at $20 an hour in California

Your entire premise ignores that supply is not finite. They have repeatedly gotten ahead in human history. Are you really arguing that the lives of those in the bottom third of income are worse now than they were in 1800?

I'd explain how that's shitty sampling but I don't think you've ever taken a basic stats class based on your logic.

Social Minimum Wage now at $20 an hour in California

People act like this also has not been studied to death by economists (actual economists not popular ones who aim for cable news spots). The evidence is pretty strongly in favor of the labor market and economy being able to absorb fairly large minimum wage increases without too much pain.

Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

Well it's a good thing that background checks aren't only reliant on records. And again, men qualify for Medicaid if they meet the income limits. I don't know where you are getting this fantasy that men do not qualify for welfare. Not to mention I don't know what one would describe unemployment...

Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

Well it's a good thing that more bodies paying into the system helps benefit the social safety net and otherwise improve the country's overall economy. No, and they already do not. Not to mention this thread has nothing to do with illegal immigration.

Google, Microsoft, tech jobs, etc... are no longer "dream" jobs..

Lexmark was too busy using illegal labor tbh haha. It's mostly HP that has locked down the cartridge grift and subscriptions most. And none taken, I don't work in the print industry.

Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

So you too don't wanna answer what welfare programs these refugees would get access to, even though everyone in this thread is convinced it's a gravy train? Hint...the point of these refugees is they become citizens and thus net benefits to the US ledger, civically and economically. It's how...

Google, Microsoft, tech jobs, etc... are no longer "dream" jobs..

Yeah, the HP cartridge and ink subscription models are some of the most anti-consumer business practices you'll find today, on top of cannibalizing the market long term. But it makes money short term so print companies don't care at this point.

How did you arrive at those estimates? You're quoting me a cost approaching annual tuition for private colleges.

Social Biden considers accepting Palestinian refugees

They would be coming from Egypt, which is not a warzone (at least that part of the country). You keep insisting that the government won't screen them despite the story literally saying they will. You're the one trying to argue with all the facts we have so far. And men quality for cash welfare...

Social Can homeless people be fined for sleeping outside? A rural Oregon city asks the US Supreme Court

How many cities do you think have a homeless population of 2500 or more do you think? You're acting like every random city and town has this problem. Also how did you arrive at your estimate that housing and feeing 2500 people for a year costs $100 million?
