You do not need to uncover the map again. Do points, obols or potions again and Lillith Shrines. They are account bound and applicable to both Eternal and Seasonal realms. You do need to do strongholds, side quests and Waypoints per character but it helps with renown early on for XP and Gold...

Finally almost got a max tier character. My seasonal Fire Sorc is halfway to 100 (I will probably hit 100 tonight). Never had a maxed out character in Diablo 2 or LoD as the grind was to real. Diablo 3 never played it enough to care. So this is something new to me. Got some pretty epic...
