Media GSP is competing in a Jiu Jitsu match in December

Is Usman that banged up these days? I know his knees aren't great but his scrambles in training videos (don't know how old the vids really are) looks like he still has a lot in the tank. I agree that Rob probably wouldn't be Dana's choice either but I'd love to see it. Nick Diaz is a solid...

Media GSP is competing in a Jiu Jitsu match in December

GSP vs Rory is an interesting choice, don't mind that at all.

Media GSP is competing in a Jiu Jitsu match in December

Usman because he was the most dominant WW since GSP and a great grappler in his own right. Whittaker because he was supposed to fight GSP before he retired to unify the MW title.

I don't think Khabib would be an option. My two choices are ones that have some kind of storyline: - Usman - Whittaker

Media Brendan Allen offered Roman Dolidze next, would rather wait for result of Whittaker vs Du Plessis

I scored it for Malkoun as well, so did a few media outlets.. not saying a robbery, but he did have an argument for the win. Malkoun is an ADCC qualifier so is a high level grappler though.

Media Brendan Allen offered Roman Dolidze next, would rather wait for result of Whittaker vs Du Plessis

Brendan's run has been impressive. Interesting his closest fight in this run has been with unranked Jacob Malkoun, a fight some feel Jacob won.

Media Kelvin Gastelum accepts challenge from Shavkat Rakhmonov: I think stylistically I’m horrible for him

No way Kelvin should be fighting no.6 in the division on returning. Shavkhat vs Burns should be the fight at WW Do Kelvin vs Brady, Luque or Chiesa next.

News Ciryl Gane vs Serghei Spivac set as main event for UFC France on September 2nd

I'm surprised UFC are putting Cyril against another grappler and not giving him a striker to avoid back to back losses.

Is Marlon Moraes' fall the biggest ever?

Penn's is worse for me. Marlon was still showing his skills and doing well in fights "until he lost" because of his chin... but Penn... just couldn't hang at all anymore. Guys have mentioned Ferguson and Woodley too, similar to Penn, it wasn't a case of their chins fading, etc. However, they...

Media Israel Adesanya doesn’t think he’ll ever fight Alex Pereira again

Alex at LHW will be just so much bigger, better hydrated and probably have a much better camp as a result. Given they do have similar skill levels I'd take Alex at LHW.

Media Julianna Pena almost stormed the cage following Amanda Nunes' retirement

She seems like a real dog shit human - she might get people interested in watching her get beat up by being like this but for me, she's just someone I avoid altogether.

UFC 291 Wonderboy vs Michel Pereira: Karatoiera Who you got and how

MP can definitely catch him. I'm going with WB but it is a toss up despite him being the more polished striker.

Anyone remember Chael's post fight interview after after losing to Silva?

That post-fight presser was about as well as anyone could handle defeat after that level of pre-fight trash talk! You'd never see it with any of the similar personas these days I don't think.

By The Numbers: Jim Miller vs. Jared Gordon

Wasn't Gordon actually put out by the headbutt (and follow up punches) just like 5 weeks ago? I know the records say NC but he was out... he shouldn't be fighting yet!

    Out of Conor's 22 wins, 19 were knockouts...(Is that a record?)

Carlos Condit was a strong finisher. Up until the Nick Diaz title fight he had only won one decision, the rest were finishes. Finished his career with 28 finishes in 32 wins so still an 88% finish rate. Edit, I just realized we're talking about KO's or TKO's so my point is irrelevant... other...
