Oh I typo'd originally. I meant to type "with both guys throwing that much per round". Don't get fights at heavyweight anymore with both guys jabbing that much per round, if someone's jabbing that much they're probably dominating.
I don't think it looked strange at all, people probably say that just because he didn't match their expectations, or because they have preconceived notions and ideas of dumb stuff like "MMA angles"
It's a bit like Brock Lesnar being a WWE star and then going into UFC and becoming heavyweight champion very fast. People pointed to it and lol'd but then he made a lot of money for the UFC, like Ngannou can make a lot of money for boxing promoters if he keeps boxing.
I agree that the difference in ability between modern top boxers and the ones of yesteryear is overestimated by many, but I'm not sure this fight proves it. It's easy for someone to say "but Ngannou had modern boxing training the last couple years!" etcetc
I gave Fury 6 rounds, and so had him winning by a single point.
Ngannou boxed great and has legit skills, and is very sharp and strong. Fury should've just boxed long but kept treating Ngannou like he was a bum for too long in the fight. Fury should outbox him by a wider margin if they rematch...
