lol he's not asking for fans. he's asking his fans to help other fans find his account. that's how social media works. how are you gonna know garrett or max's twitters if you don't see them?
i think there's an argument for it but hard to argue when one guy dominated his weight class for so long. couple more title defenses at 205 though and it's not even arguable.
ryan is as limited as it gets for a top fighter, especially in a weight class like 135-140. i don't think wilder is a great comparison but they're similar in the way that they're generally pretty fragile and inactive during fights but just a single shot can completely flip a fight at any point...
i'd agree. i think round-by-round scoring makes this fight insane to score. garcia came out of it clearly looking like the better man but it doesn't mean he won the fight, numerically.
funny enough, garcia is actually one of the better fighters right now at landing hard shots in the clinch. the ref's constant intervention hurt both guys.
garcia looked absolutely done and checked out mentally until he tagged haney for the first KD. haney was leading wide early. even after that, garcia did absolutely nothing outside of the tiny bursts where he was able to hurt haney. bizarre fight.
garcia's left hook might be better than DLH's. i...
he doesn't have anything for gervonta. i don't think anyone does right now. tank is too small to jump to 147 but i don't think anyone beats him at 140 and under
it was a spectacle. there's no doubt about that. i think there was far too much wrestling and referee shenanigans to be a classic.
he was batting haney around the ring like a cat with a mouse. dozens of clean shots on the temple and chin. if haney tries to grab and falls, it's still a...
if it's a punch or punches that cause the initial stumble and there's no overt pressure pushing the fighter to the floor, it's a knockdown. those were knockdowns.
that's just not true. ryan was trying to throw punches. the ref wouldn't allow it. he was jumping in the second there was any clinching whatsoever which meant ryan couldn't fight out of it.
edit: for the record he was doing this to both guys, it just seemed to harm garcia's chances the most.
ryan's power is truly spectacular at 135/140. not that haney's chin is some sort of legend but he's been hit by punchers before and no one has batted him around like that. that left hook is kendall holt-ish. just absurd power in it.
i think barboza deserved to lose for such a shit showing but i had it basically a draw. mccomb didnt really do anything noteworthy. had a couple decent lead left hands and jabs but they were baby arm punches and he got walked down and ate hard body shots all night. i think you could have given...
this is exactly what i was thinking the whole fight as well. ryan should be allowed to throw punches if the ref refuses to do his job. terrible terrible showing from harvey doc
