Floyd also had a decent amount of power compared to Haney, contrary to popular belief. Beat Gatti like he slept with his wife.
Never understood people calling Haney this era's Floyd, it's not even close.
LSC vs Mares? Are we back in 2015-2018? Is he gonna fight Jhonny Gonzalez in 2027? Fights like this and Berto vs Guerrero should have their own cards full of people who can't be at peace in retirement.
Yeah that's some very interesting stuff, but thinking back to when i fought, i can't even imagine kicking with just my rear leg all fight. I'd also never aim intentionally for the wrist because of the threat of them moving and hitting my foot with their elbow. Getting elbowed in the top of your...
Just remember that earlier in the week Hearn was talking about trying to make Haney vs Ennis at 147. Haney wouldn't even last 5 rounds with Ennis, and he'd be sent straight back to 140 in a casket.
Ryan hasn't finished anyone at the top level of the div, so no that's incredibly unlikely. Matias takes one or two rounds to wake up and then sleeps Ryan. As for Haney, he looked like dog shit in every fight until he beat Prograis, in which he looked phenomenal and we thought he'd turned a...
Scooby just couldn't keep Linger away, and all that muscle, coupled with eating so many rights, just sapped all his energy. Gotta have a plan B when your opponent takes your haymakers and keeps coming.
It does look bad, but it still builds the division overall, and they can bring him back to fight big names whether he wins or loses. I just don't see the point of bringing in a guy who has incredible hype around him at the moment after winning two K1 GPs and then sticking him in a qualifier...
Agreed but i don't think you put Ce in a qualifier, just in case it goes to shit as we've often seen with GPs in other orgs. Liu Ce is getting lots of hype at the moment after winning the open and CW GPs in K1 along with winning the ISKA belt in WLF in between so i think you don't risk him...
Anderson's choice of opponents aligns with his statement that he'd retire young. He's not impressive in the least and he shows no signs of wanting to improve or wanting to leave a lasting impression before he goes. Hype job, wouldn't care if he retired tomorrow.
