Under kickboxing rules who would win Fury or Potan?

Boxing stance with most of your weight on your front leg is a bad idea when leg kicks are allowed. Also boxers can't clinch and in kickboxing they'll knee you in the head from the clinch.

    Karate Combat > Power Slapping

I think they adapted the Karate point fighting rules to full contact. Which means you are allowed to execute a throw/trip and follow up with punches to the grounded opponent for a short amount of time (I think only 5 sec in karate combat). But no ground fighting allowed. So I'm talking about...

Is it safe to say Jon Jones is retired now ?

Yes pretty sure. I think he realized himself that his time was up in his last three fights but he's a smart guy and he keeps himself relevant since like 2-3 years, which gives him media attention and money. He knows that he would get laid out at HW. He ate shots in his last performances that you...

    That's why he retired.

Long periods of inactivity = Big deal in MMA success. How will it affect Jon Jones?

His HW comeback is a schtick to keep him relevant. In 2012, when he said he would definitely make his HW debut in 2013, I think he was really considering it. https://www.mmafighting.com/2012/10/30/3579074/jon-jones-definitely-eyeing-late-2013-move-to-heavyweight Now it's just to give him clicks...

Media Craig Jones agrees with Makhachev: "A Lot Of People Deserve To Have That Black Belt Taken Away”

Pure BJJ is really a sport for itself but as it is now he's right that it's removed from reality with the bottom fighting strategies and guard pulling stuff. Sambo is a problem for BJJ because it is like judo mixed with wrestling. A lot of BJJ people accepting the bottom position get crushed by...

Did you expect Alex to be that successful in the clinch?

Maybe he was also training Muay Thai? Idk if he only trained kickboxing because Muay Thai is big in brazil and the clinch grappling along with strikes from clinch is big in Muay Thai. Sometimes we only train clinch, hand fighting and tripping, sweeping the opponent for a whole class in muay thai.

Teep To The Body - Most Underrated Shot In All Of MMA?

They're pretty hard to defend and suck. They're quick and come up the middle and too low to block with hands but also too high to block with the legs like you do checking a lowkick. I came to the conclusion it's probably best to just take them in muay thai sparring but hate them. Anyway I also...

Rumored Miocic vs Jones UFC 282 in December?

Probs for JBJ if he really steps into the cage. But I think out of prime Stipe still sleeps him.

So when will Jon Jones return?

He's retired. Maybe he'll have an LHW match in the coming years but I wouldn't put money on it.

Which weight division is the toughest?

Historically I'd say Lightweight and Featherweight but Bantamweight is also full of killers now.

Does Valentina Shevchenko train jiu jitsu?

This. She should've changed her game plan and stayed on the outside much earlier. Also I think Valentina would benefit greatly from a good strength and conditioning training. She stated that she doesn't cut weight and doesnt do strength and conditioning. She has an athlethic body just from...

News Dustin Jacoby vs. Da Un Jung booked for UFC event, July 16th

I remember how this brutal finish was the first fight of the prelims of the Holloway vs. Rodríguez card and I was like "well this is off to a good start" and then almost all fights of the card were brutal finishes.

    Volk vs Jung

Yeah he was a bit worried for Zombie. The corner of KZ shoud've stopped the fight inbetween rounds. Zombie should retire. He looked like his speed and vicious counters where gone. Often he was off balanced when throwing. Also physically he looked so soft, compared to his prime years. He had a...
