Re-read my comment.....I didnt say Fedor couldn't beat them.....actually I was saying the opposite. I was saying, and I thought it was clear, that if Fedor was 25 years old now, he would be a different fighter than he was in his prime. He wouldn't brawl as much, he'd use the newest training...
Its not really possible to compare fighters from one generation to another. One reason is MMA has evolved and training methods have evolved. Technique has evolved. So, to compare, all things need to be equal. So if Fedor was born 25 years ago instead of 50 years ago, his training would be...
Strickland will win. Neither he nor DDP will go down in history as great champions. This is the least exciting championship fight in years and I will probably just save my money and skip this event altogether. And I cant believe I just typed that.
I think Colby can win. Colby needs to withstand the 1st round. Then his chances improve drastically. I like Colby's striking as he mixes in some 5-6 punch combinations while normally, fighters throw 2-3 punch combos and reset....I've seen Colby follow a 3 punch combo with another one making it a...
I assumed it was a 10-8 round but since no damage was done, it was easy to accept 10-9. The other 2 rounds were close.....personally I could not score that fight but in totality I think Kaz won.
I'm not a huge fan of Volk but I surely admire his balls at coming in of short notice. But his opinion of himself of over the top. You need a full camp to beat this Makhachev guy. Volk is great, he'll reign over featherweight for a long time. His next fight should be awesome.
Wood got hit so hard in the nuts that I felt it in New York....I think he won the fight. He is a gentleman and even clapped when the winner was declared...I'm a fan.
its not complicated...its one of 3 things...A) a bad style matchup in which case he might beat everyone in the world and lose to Strickland over and over again...B) overconfident and thought he'd have no trouble and never imagined losing and couldnt change game plan on the fly, like he actually...
Clearly, you are nutz. Or at the least you have a super crush on Grasso. You broke it down w nothing but opinion. She is still revered as a striker. She was not shooting for her life. She was shooting because its MMA and the rules say try anything to win. Just sayin.
10-8 was incoherent....it was surely a close fight, maybe he was frightened that Grasso would lose and gave a 10-8 to add some insurance??? In other words, IDK and think Shevchenko won by a point.
