Whether the fighter complains or accepts it, you cant really lean too heavily on the fighter's account. Jiri was just not shitting over Alex's moment. Makes me think more highly of Jiri, but not more highly of Marc Goddard.
Jiri was landing well from some odd angles. Definitely connecting. But he was also leaving himself pretty open to the counter and getting his leg chopped up. I think it's too much to say he was the better striker.
It was early. Not the worst ever like some are saying, but I think Jiri has shown really good recovery in the past.
I thought it was a very interesting fight as far as it went. I'd have liked to see it play out.
