Hair trigger? I bet it's no less than 4.5lbs and has a pretty good take-up before hitting the wall. And Glocks only have a trigger safety. Which means if you're pulling the trigger the safety is disengaged. So there's your safety. It's called your trigger finger (i.e. trigger discipline)...
In the past after every usage. Now it depends on the gun and the number of rounds put through it. I've come to believe there is such a thing as overcleaning.
Totally agree with draw speed and shot placement. There's a reason most every self-defense shooting involves six rounds or less. People drop dead or haul ass. Shout out to Active Self-Protection on Youtube.

Agreed. Not sure your tool situation, but after my first attempt I bought the wrench designed for the job. Bent whatever I tried to use and decided to drop the $15 or whatever.
I actually set my trigger a little too light perhaps. But taking it apart again isn't all that appealing. Still...
The Geissele trigger pack and trigger bow are a huge improvement. Still not on par with a nice AR trigger, but nothing to complain about. Need to shoot my Tavor more.
