I don't follow the forum much anymore so i get where you're coming from now with the recency comment, if the majority were on Millender over Zaleski. But i dont see how the critiques would apply to the Zaleski fight as much as they do against Belal. Yes, Zaleski is a BJJ bb, but prior to the...
The common denominator is that these guys are all strikers who never or barely ever incorporate wrestling/grappling into their style, so i don't expect their fight iq as in time in a round they hit a takedown, or what they do on the ground to be very smart. Belal always incorporates wrestling...
Don't get this recency bias re Millender Belal. Yes Millender is coming off a quick sub loss, but he was also held down for all of r1 by Max friggin Griffin who then decided not to attempt another takedown. He was taken down by Alves and was flat on his back in the middle of the cage. It was...
Cant be arsed rechecking his last two fights to confirm that, but Alves and Griffin took him down without having to shoot reactively. I don't recall him defending any takedowns barely in the UFC. Even an exhausted Siyar took him down right at the end of r3. Griffin, Siyar and Alves offer very...
He can defo clip Jouban but its very unlikely he is going to show any improvement especially in such a small space of time. Real difficult to improve as you move into your 30s and hes mid 30s.
Ps all belals tds are fairly telegraphed he normally shoots from pretty far out and is good at finishing against the fence. Its worked well for him against the mid level comp hes generally faced in the ufc and millender is another id class as mid level.
Telegraphed takedowns are fine against Millender he cant defend at all. Alves took him down shooting a mile out. Siyar Griffin and Zaleski took him down no problem too. Belal has better MMA wrestling than all four and he uses it in all his fights unlike the four mentioned, who are normally out...
New weight for Kruchten too whose had three fights in six years and only beaten guys with losing records. Hes also a recovering alcoholic. Spent about two months at the Lab doesnt normally train there. But yeah Straus coming back from an horrific accident so who knows but Krutchen sucks.
And Maycee is the this dangerous gnp queen for stopping Cifers and some bum on DWCS? There is no way Maycee should be this price and i think people are nuts paying the juice on an unproven 20 year old. This is a 50/50 fight.
Why is she lost on her back? Let me guess because of the Moyle fight years ago? If memory serves me right she was up very quickly from 3 of Lima's 4 takedowns and that is almost 2.5 years ago. People improve like i pointed out to you before.
You really need to stop referencing the Moyle fight. If your main reason for betting Barber is because of the Moyle fight you'r ein for a rude awakening.
How long ago was the Moyle fight? Fighters improve some a lot. Go watch Barbers fight just 18 months ago against Malloy, she looked awful, but shes clearly improved. Same with JJ.
