Kiril Kornilov draw Sultan Murtazaliev
The main event ended in a draw between former Glory kickboxer Kiril Kornilov and Sultan Murtazaliev. The fight was largely a tepid affair with Kornilov pressuring and feinting but not throwing a lot of volume. Murtazaliev was able to secure several...
Thank you!
Agree about him being similar to Petr Yan, I was thinking about it when I watched his fight. I think it's the high guard and combinations. He does seem to be comfortable going for takedowns to steal rounds/mix things up. He is still young so I think he will develop his kickboxing as...

Justin Gonzales def. Jake Childers
In the main event of the evening, Justin Gonzales was able to pick up his 11th straight win as a professional as he finished the previously undefeated Jake Childers and became the LFA Featherweight champion. J-Train looked in control for the majority of...
Hey guys, I decided to start writing a weekly global roundup for regional MMA (pretty much anything apart from UFC and Bellator, might even include Bellator). I focus on a couple of match ups that I find interesting/meaningful from each 'major' regional event.
Here is the link...
Can you name 10 better HW grapplers than Tybura? Not trying to be a dick just curious to see what you think.
UFC very rarely cuts people off one fight, especially when they step up on short notice. I don't think it was a performance that would see someone cut straight away.
Tybura is one of the better grapplers at HW IMO. Grishin had similar issues vs Jordan Johnson in PFL, plus he was giving up a lot of size in this match up. He will drop down to LHW and pick up some wins I think.
I'm not sure about it being the golden era but I agree that the division is improving. There are finally younger heavyweights who seem capable of taking over when the current elite calls it a day.
Ngannou was on 120k/120k for the JDS fight.
Don't think they were actually majority decisions. I know ACA sometimes uses 5 judges so maybe they count a majority decision if 4 judges score it for the winning fighter and 1 scores it for the losing fighter.
He won by T/KO, did well but I think he might not be athletic enough to become a top LHW. He is a very good grappler but I don't really like his striking. Technically it isn't bad but he doesn't throw enough volume on the feet.
Thanks for the feedback. I like Raisov but I think he hasn't looked as good as he has previously in his last couple of fights maybe it's the change of weight class and he is still getting used to it. He is still young and has fought good competition. I will check out Santos and Khatuev.
Hey guys, my friend and I wrote an article on the best prospects in MMA that weren't mentioned in the ESPN article. We tried to look outside the major organisations (UFC and Bellator). Please have a read and tell us if you agree with the rankings and if we missed someone out. Thanks you! :)...
Does anyone know if Romanov's loss is legit? Sherdog doesn't have it and it came 5 years before his second fight. Could be someone else with his the same name.
I would guess it's at heavyweight, De Castro moved up from light heavyweight so maybe that's why some are listing it at light heavyweight. Tafa looks like a big guy, I doubt he would want to cut weight.
Anyone have a breakdown for Ricardo Prasel vs Dontale Mayes? From what I remember Prasel is mainly a submission guy, Mayes is a bit more well rounded. How do you guys see it going?
