    Brian Shaw entering the UFC/MMA

Ugh, I like Brian Shaw. I really wish he wouldn’t do this. I hope it’s just a publicity thing.

Which of the three kings left the greatest legacy in MMA?

This. In-cage legacy is Adesanya, but in-and-out of the cage is Ngannou, by far.

Why not Ian Garry vs. Shavkat?

    LMAO, this.

When did the UFC give up trying to sign the best guys?

Lol this. It’s hard to say exactly when, but I think a major turning point was when they let Mousasi go. I remember there were times Dana would talk shit when other highly ranked guys like Bendo and Rory left, but I don’t remember him saying anything about Mousasi. It was like he silently...

Ian Garry wants Khamzat: ‘Let me punch the mouth off him’

This. I like Ian Garry, but Khamzat would roll over him faster than he did to Holland.

Rewatch Pereira turned Jan leg into a balloon yet nobody is giving Jan props for showing heart

I think we fans respect him a lot more than the promotion and casuals. Look no further than the buildup to his fight with Adesanya. Adesanya was getting talked up so much as some striking genius, while Jan was getting described like he’s just some big, strong, lumbering oaf.

So why Aljo didn't commit to a takedown early?

I agree with everyone saying over-confidence cost Sterling more than anything. Hearing the UFC promos calling him the “greatest BW ever” likely gave him a false sense of security. Still, O’Malley’s definitely the truth. He had a bunch of weird fights that got him to where he is now, but he...

    UFC Deserves (ahem) "Pull-outs" ...

It’s fucked up, but as per usual, nothing’s going to be done about it. Wonderboy gets stiffed no matter what. Dana did his usual blame-the fighter song & dance. We the fans will bitch about it some, but most of us will still tune into the fights. The exact same thing happened with Tony Ferguson...

Is exchanging bodily fluids with your opponent an allowed strategy?

I remember Poirier actually admitted using this tactic against Joe Duffy. He was in Duffy’s guard, and he was using his own blood to drip into Duffy’s eyes, nose, and mouth. I’m the post fight interview, Poirier even bragged that he’s “a nasty mother-f***er.” As for my thoughts, I’m okay with...

    Do you like Jon Jones?

Proud Jones hater, here. He seems like a garbage human being and obviously a dirty fighter. It blows my mind that he’s not in prison by now, but I think it’s only a matter of time before he does something stupid again. I just hope he doesn’t seriously hurt anybody next time. That said, I have...

How would Izzy fair in 2016-2018 MW Division?

Izzy beats Weidman and Rockhold. As great as they were in their prime, I think they had serious holes in their game that Israel would’ve found and exploited. I think he would’ve lost to a slightly younger Romero and a prime Souza. Both guys were fearless back then, and Souza was a lot more...

Ross Pearson actually did well in ufc

I used to be a big Diego fan, and yeah…easily the worst robbery of all time.

CBS Sports: UFC is stuck in a rut with a watered down product.

I agree for the most part. Besides the occasional breakout star like Adesanya, the UFC has been formulaic and lazy for years. I keep up with some of the fighters, but I don’t watch anymore. I prefer PFL and One at this point. Funny you say that, because I think the Conor/Ronda era lead to...

How many of you really believe the “friends dont fight” excuse?

This. It all comes down to a fighter’s ‘why’.

Fighters that come from multiple gyms...

There might be some, but I doubt many. Like it or not, we’re still in the era of the mega-gyms. I do notice that there’s a slow trend of some smaller gyms gaining ground by producing champs and contenders, but the ATTs, AKAs, and Jackson-Winks still dominate.

Media Kelvin Gastelum announces his plans to get shredded in return to welterweight

It’s easy to make fun of Kelvin, but people forget that there were a few occasions he made weight at 170lbs, and when he did healthily, he was a monster. He was informally nicknamed “mini-Cain” back then. Of course, his out of competition habits hurt him badly, and we all know the rest. It’s...

    What was Fedor weaknesses?

Fedor made his pro debut in 2000, and his best years were probably mid to late 2000s. It’s easy for us to look back to that time and see weaknesses. However, relative to his HW peers, he had very few. Keep in mind, he’d beaten multiple UFC champions and top contenders during that time.

If Stipe beats Jones, he is the HW GOAT without question.

Stipe is already the greatest UFC heavyweight, but he has a LOT of heavy-lifting (pun intended) to surpass Fedor as the HW GOAT. Personally, I don’t think he has time, anymore. I think all of the time-off on the sidelines cost his legacy, greatly. As for beating Jones? I don’t see it. Stipe is...

Whats the best for MMA ?

I think that, everything else being equal, a strong offense wrestler/defensive striker is the best style. No matter how good of a striker you are, MMA is a game of millimeters. Guys like Israel, Andy, Silva, and other great strikers all get caught eventually. Of course, this is all...
