Television X-MEN '97 (First Official Trailer, post #292)

He uses an electro magnetic shield. In the comics, there was an alternate timeline where Rogue and Magneto were married. Rogue absorbed Polaris' powers (Magneto's daughter) and she gained her powers permanently. Having those magnetic powers made it so her and Magneto's powers cancelled each...

    What happened to Michelle Trachtenberg?

It's dumb to expect a 20 year old to have some thought about permanently altering their body via surgery? It'd be just as retarded for a guy that injected his arms with that shit to make his muscles look big. And it's not just that they "don't look good in 35 years". It's deeper than that...

Social Candace Owens has been dropped from The Daily Wire.

This argument never made any sense for anyone that is remotely serious about politics. If you stand firm in your beliefs, how does "the left moving farther away from reality" change YOUR reality and positions? You don't support individual people and policies, yes, but you don't completely...

    What happened to Michelle Trachtenberg?

It is baffling how so many of them don't think about the long term, especially when we have so many examples of people looking horrendous as they age because of plastic surgery. This shit doesn't look good to start with, and it's going to look terrible in 10 years. Add BBLs and fake tits...

One of the actors committed suicide not that long ago, so, not surprised to hear this. I think it's a good show, but you have to be in a mind space for it--and, it's likely just not going to be everyone's cup of tea anyways.

Television Netflix - 3 Body Problem

This particular group got an extra amount of attention because of their connection to Ye Wenjie. Some of the best have already been killed by that point as well.

haha We have the same playlist pretty much. I'm on episode 3 of Halo. I never really played the games either, and am also liking the series.

ARK Animated show with a pretty star studded cast. Gerard Butler, Russel Crowe, Michelle Yeoh, Jeffrey Wright, and others. Interestingish story....people from different time periods wake up on an island that is basically Jurrasic Park...conflict between the groups ensue as they try to...

Television Netflix - 3 Body Problem

Yeahhh, I think people need to accept that live action can't always perfectly bring to life what they read in books, especially when we're talking about long series with complex subjects and characters. Even when I have read the books/manga/comics beforehand, I treat them like a separate...

Television Netflix - 3 Body Problem

I binge watched it and thought it was great. I liked the cast and the variety of different thoughts and personalities on how to "deal with" an alien invasion. With how the season ended, there's a lot of ways the show can go. Never read the books so have nothing to compare it to, but...

Television X-MEN '97 (First Official Trailer, post #292)

Great nostalgic feeling watching this. It's a pretty good continuance and I'm liking what they've done so far. The action has been great and Cyclops is finally the bad ass he is supposed to be. I am not a fan of some of the voice work though. Wolverine's voice sounds like trash, and Rogue...

Social Major study finds Gender Affirming Care has no significant effect on suicide rate

The whole conversation on transgenderism is just so irreparably damaged. Both sides of this keep making these absolutist statements that we can't possibly have the answers to yet. Not enough studies have been done, and not enough time has passed. The supporters and haters look at studies...

Yeah, it wasn't perfect, but I felt like Daryl's show was a pretty unique story in the zombie genre, as well as visually well done. I never heard of 'The World Beyond'. Maybe i'll give an episode a shot to see if i find it worth watching.

    Yep. No disagreement on that.

I could see that. I think it works well as a series though since it's just 6 episodes. 3 episodes in and there hasn't been any filler thus far. I thought Daryl in Paris was alright--especially when put up against the other Walking Dead stuff. It was far more watchable than the past few years...

    Television TV Show Thread

The Walking Dead with the return of Rick Grimes and Michonne is acutalllyyyyyyyyyyyyy pretty damn good. Much better writing, good characters, and none of the bad acting, melodramatic sappiness from the main show. It's not perfect...there are still some logical leaps that you just have to go...

Television X-MEN '97 (First Official Trailer, post #292)

He should be able to charge his claws. He can charge inorganic matter. Gambit has charged his staff at the tip for targeted smaller explosions so he has control on how much power and where he's focusing the energy. The action here just seems pretty dumb and useless. The explosion would...

    Dick / Not a dick

He's not a dick, but it is a bit weird that he didn't give you a call since you were staying at the same hotel and would have been leaving together.
